With regards to junk mail: I was given this idea years ago. Open up unsolicited junk mail, and if it has a prepaid envelop I stuff EVERYTHING back in and drop in mailbox. USPS gets to charge again (I believe), reduces my clutter and the sender gets the honor of getting something they didn't ask for.

I won't miss Saturday delivery in the least if fact, deliver 4 times a week and if I really want the remaining day, have me pick it up.

Not sure if I recall correctly, but isn't the required pre funding of retiree's health benefits the main issue?

I'm not opposed to getting a car if warranted.

My travel plans changed. Delta changed my Saturday morning flight from Columbus-Atlanta to Friday arrival at 6pm. The 2nd flight leaves Atlanta at 9:50am Saturday. Now I need to get a close hotel and add that to the overall trip cost. Anybody have options for entertainment for those short hours in Atlanta? The Aquarium closes before I arrive. Thought about the Underground experience but don't think it's changed much since last visit. Tourism website yielded nothing that pops out...

Agree with you! That is out of line, especially with a captured audience that is easily swayed by a teacher. I don't have an issue with that removal. Mine is with the statements of elected official.

My issue is with the censoring. Good or bad, regardless of current political direction or religious trends, I don't feel the removal of statements from elected officials should be permitted. Let the statements stand, let the statements fall. But either way let them be heard and judged on their own merits or lack thereof. I may be way of course, but this is how I see students being lead... I appreciate the separation of church and state, most assuredly when promoted by a teacher, but this smacks of a political grab. Let the educated minds hear all of it, and learn how necessary changes have evolved (ooops, can I say "evolved"?!). If the person is deemed a bigot, hero or zero I encourage the students to discuss and decide their own opinion.
