  1. I will have two tail bags if anyone needs to bring extra stuff. (I also have the baby to think about.) I also run a GPS mounted on the bike so no problems as far as that's concerned.

I rode to Zanesville last Saturday from this same spot in 2:05 plus I stopped in Millersburg to get gas and go pee. I know it will take longer the more people in the group but I don't see how 82 miles should take us more that two hours especially if we don't stop for gas. If anyone would like to pad the time more I am willing to leave earlier if needed.

  2. Not a fleet story but still kind of funny. After I got out and was back home I was working in a machine shop. One summer I went out to Cali to visit some high school friends who were still in. One was in Fallbrook and the other was a recruiter in Redondo Beach. We went to TJ to do what ever you do there and I brought back some M80s. They were a pale red color, almost pink. I was setting them off inside the shop scarring the shit out of people for days. You could feel the compression from them all over the shop. We had this one shitbird that would go to the shitter to take a nap everyday at the same time. I took a white terrycloth rag cut it up, rolled it up, cut a fuse off of one of the M80s, used a red magic marker to color it and it looked just like the real thing. I lit it threw it into his stall and I hear "Tod you fucking asshole" as he is standing up turning sideways trying to lift his leg up to protect his package. His pants down at his ankles don't allow this type of movement and he falls on the floor naked from the waist down holding his ears.

  3. I might be able to cruise down but I am also sketchy on the details. Crew coming up from Columbus should arrive in Coshocton by 12:00 and then everyone rides? Meet at your house or McDonalds? (Where is McDonalds?) Cookout to follow?

I would love to discover some new roads that are closer to home. I think my drive time is about 1:30 straight down 83.

  4. Sorry guys I didn't look at the bike until today. I'm guessing about $1,300 for the damages. I don't know if I'm going to fix it though. For the first time in thirty years I am on unemployment. I knew it was coming and I just signed up for it today. I guess I should have taken it easier and not risked damaging the bike.

  5. Those pictures are too funny, how did I miss them being taken. I thought I told you guys to stay away from the baby because it bites. You guys don't listen to anyone.

Shit, now John has his 10 tuned, all you guys with these big bikes are going to make me have to get a 10. It's not fair.

Glad to see you made it the rest of the way home Garrett. I hope you get that problem chased down.

What's this about a pet bat?

  6. Thanks for calling John; sorry for not answering I was in the shower.

Udell texted me early this morning about 1:30 an stated he was assuming no one was going to make it down.

Because of me planning to do this ride earlier I have been informed that I need to stay away from home anyway so she can get things done. (We are going out of town tomorrow.)

I will be riding down that way by myself I guess. If any one sees a baby with goggles on the back of a bike down there it’s me, say hi.

  7. Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I went to the track day at Mid-Ohio last night. I fall down go boom. I'm okay just sore and my neck hurts. I'm surprised the guys haven't started making fun of me yet in the other thread.

I know it's late to make plans but honestly right now I'm 50/50 on going. Give me a few more hours if you can. I will know 100% no later than 9:00 tonight possibly by 7:00. If we need to meet farther east to accommodate John that’s fine with me but that would probably have us taking the highway down to Zanesville instead of 83 and 60.

If I do go my plans were to leave from Circle K at 82 & 83 at 9:00 AM. Meet Inya and his crew in Zanesville at 11:30 at the gas station that is southeast of the 70 & 60 exchange.

  8. Hey KTMRIDER welcome aboard. That's how to break in a new rider. Get a new bike on Friday, out riding with a large group of sport bikes Sunday. It looked to me like you were with the pack whenever I checked for you. I was concerned about you riding with this group after I told you about the ride, looks like for nothing. I knew you could ride after I took you and your brother down 60 last year with the demo bikes but large group riding is somewhat different.

Sorry about some of the passes on 83. It would have been impossible to find a clean place for fourteen bikes to pass. If we would have all stayed behind a car doing 45 mph trust me more stupid things would have happened.

I love me some tall sexy things.

  9. I heard about the guy passing on the right when we got back but I didn't know who it was. I know him, he is a good kid though somewhat misguided. I will talk to him about it, it won't happen again when he is riding with me. He usually rides with the stunters and that is acceptable behavior with them. I know because I follow them sometimes for entertainment. The kid has talent and wants to learn. He has improved his riding the past year, I'm pretty sure he will calm it down for the opportunity to learn something because he is that kind of kid.

RVT, I've not meet you yet but do you happen to live on Burns by the college? I have seen a bike parked there and I wouldn't think there are too many of them in town. If it's not you I'm sure you would know who it is.

  10. I just signed up five minutes ago so I'm in. I was told when I called to sign up that we could get in at 2:00 PM and riding started at 4:30 PM.

SBT site has riding starting at 4:00 PM on one page and 4:30 PM on another, what gives? Isn't it just one group? Why do they ask you if you’re intermediate or advanced?

I haven't been there since September and I haven't ridden with SBT in two years. Hope to meet some new people and have some fun.

I have a 3000w generator that I can share with someone who needs power. I’ll be driving a black Trailblazer pulling a black trailer.

  11. Pedophile oh damn, I was going for the careless caregiver look. I've suffered years of the guys giving me shit about having a baby seat on the back of my bike. I finally gave them one. The baby was my idea but the goggles weren’t nice touch though.

Yea, the jinx is broken. He tried to ramp it up twice but I didn't follow. (It’s hard not to do.) One guy did the first time he went out front and I have no idea why the other guys didn't go out but I'm glad they didn't.

I rode faster than usual in the straight stuff trying to keep it to a sane pace. If it looks like it's going to get boring someone will try to ramp it up and then all hell breaks loose. Thankfully it was just jinx doing it because if someone else would have he for sure would have obliged them.

I had a good time, meet a few new guys and discovered a new road. 604 was fun. This was the most boring route that I've been on but it worked out well. (No one hurt.)

It's hard not to see a few WTF moments with a group that big I think there were fourteen bikes in our group.

Now do you know what the fun run is? Kind of hard to describe isn't it? Was it what you thought it would be?
