I have done a free ride along in a Z06 that lapped at 1:12:XX. Completely different experience in a car. Strapped in a harness I thought I was going to end up with bruised shoulders from the heavy braking. Little feel of acceleration though, nothing like a motorcycle. Car was stock with the exception of an extensive brake upgrade.

All the cool kids are getting these kind of bikes but the peer pressure isn't going to work on me. I just use the bike I have and do inappropriate things with it to try keeping up.

My grandfather was a WWII combat veteran, fought in the Asian Theatre, strong christian man that never swore even when golfing, couldn't shake his strong dislike for those JAPS. Wait! Do you have three bikes now or did one go towards the Busa? (Please don't let it be the XR, I really want a new one) I have had a Busa and understand you wanting one kinda but kinda not. Mine was a 2005, the bike fit me better than any bike I had ever ridden, I put the most miles on it in the shortest period of time than with any bike I've ever owned, 15,000 miles in 16 months. It was a fantastic bike for riding on the street, I did my first three track days on it, totaled it on the third trackday. What a fun capable bike that does the backroads better than expected. What I don't get other than your cultural issue is the ZX14 gave you everything the Busa has. PS. Watching you ride the XR in your posted videos I'm impressed with how well you handle that thing.
