Guessing you told both of them about this deal. If so, you should reimburse them for their loss.

That shouldn't be repeated. Floating the idea out there could make the request come true. Probably won't make it happen but might make the request happen.

  2. Completely kidding about the motor. The weight of the bike and they motor are perfectly matched. There isn't a bike I would rather have for carving up a tight curvy backroad. Maybe that's a little strong of a recommendation because I currently require a quickshifter/auto blipper, a better way to state that would be there isn't a better bike available that fits that mission.

My eternal love for an I4 because it's the only proper way to make a motorcycle engine should be ignored if someone doesn't live with the same prejudice.

I'm prepared to not remove my helmet in your presence.

  3. This is seriously the best handling street bike I've ridden. It's a perfect back roads weapon. If there was a way to power the front wheel it would be a great unicycle. The front end feel and response is awesome.

If there is any flaw with the bike it's that it could use a couple more cylinders to get to the proper four count that all motorcycles should posses.

    Paging @Uncle Punk

They got my nephew and me both for $500 each, they also got a local riding buddy/friend of mine for $250.

Hoping that the TVA runs it for a couple years before someone buys the lease and that the TVA honors the gift cards. I really doubt a new for profit company leasing the contract will be honoring the gift cards.

I doubt that this was blatant fraud, while they might have been in trouble there was no way for them to predict the pandemic. It was a great way for them to generate some operating capital.

  5. I wasn't running into groups that large, mostly under 10 at a time. I mostly had issues with the ones by themselves. They are riding as fast as the bike can go, taking up the whole road and can't imagine someone wanting by. Slow cruiser guys are predictable and it's easy to pass them when they don't notice anyone behind them. The Grom nuts are all over the road and can't believe someone is behind them since they are going as fast as that bike can go.

Things like DCT and quick shifters will extend my riding career 👍

If it wasn't for quick shifter/auto blipper I wouldn't still be riding.

Looking forward to a motorcycle that has an automatic transmission as good as a PDK.

Only place I can think of off the top of my head where it wouldnt be bad (as long as the grom or z125 had a competent rider) would be a place like the dragon.

I probably would prefer to be on a grom on the dragon vs a full size bike.

I had heard many tales about how the groms were taking over the Dragon and passing everything in sight. I thought it was plausible too since the worst spanking I've ever taken there was from a 2smoke 250. Different story once I was there to the point that the slow things are annoying and even less cooperative than the cruisers. To be fair I did happen to stumble upon several groups of them and it's normal for people in groups to act like jerks.

I will say that it was way, way more fun to ride a 250 scooter there than a 1K sport bike.

To bad it's so far from good riding but it's closer to the beach if you're into that kind of thing.

Told you it was too far from the good roads. You are there for opportunity that will benefit your family not good riding.

  9. On second thought I might be wrong about that. People do consider those little 125 things as motorcycles. (Groms, Monkeys, Z125) While they might be fun they are annoying to be around, blocking any fun road that they are on.

Easy, one of those bloated, obese, Harley riders might show you a wheel mid conrner some day ....

This is one of the cool ridiculous things that could MORGA. Even get things moved to Ranting and Raving where the real fun begins.

You might have been okay with the wheel showing statement without the mid corner added because a well set up Harley can move in a 1/4 mile but there ain't never been a Harley made to show anything a wheel mid corner. Nice try at being silly though.

What, so he got sent home mid-ride?

As it should be, for you specifically.

This is extra funny since one of the first epic rides ended without a pre planned end or a complete loop to the original starting point. Monkeys go find your own way home.

@Skinny guy has a hot bike!

  12. I spent a month in that area from February to March this year, most of it at Duke. The Research Triangle is a great up and coming place. To bad it's so far from good riding but it's closer to the beach if you're into that kind of thing. I have family in Apex, just outside of Cary.

I truly hope OR gains life back, we don’t appreciate the culture of safe riding we cultivate because it’s like second nature to us. But when we say, all riders show up atgatt, bikes are well taken care of and prepped, people know the pace, they carry stuff for emergency, we ride 350+ miles all twisty, these concepts are like alien to most average riders while it’s just habit to us. I wish we are able to stay open and kicking so as to impart this culture to many up and coming riders. I know for a fact I am a 100% better rider because of OR and it’s riders and group rides. 👍

I been passively active in some FB groups and Tonit app etc Met feels good riders like that, and met many good riders on the roads we usually ride. On social medial Huge portion of discussion is just bloat and posted rides are crap, just bombing highways, hard parking, or just hitting suburbs and thinking those are back roads. But there are quite a few new riders around who very well could be excellent riders are right fit for OR style riding. May be inviting those good riders to this platform is the only way to get folks in and keep it alive. Search engine and self invitation in here is difficult and only the vary brave internet ride warrior will venture. Let’s be honest we are a clique and a very difficult one because of strong and odd sense of humor and communication style and even harder riding style. Talk about 400 miles loops with 2 stops and not so legal speeds. Ain’t no body can jump into this right away.

anyways good luck and hope to see this place survive since it affect new riders survival, I truly believe that.

Don't tell me what to do....

  14. What have I missed and what am I missing? I thought you already left us and went to that state up north.

I remember the Monster ZX6 that had a couple scratches on both sides of it the first time we rode together. Inyazz was there leading and I stayed back with you to keep you safe and connected to the group. Wow, have you improved since then and no longer need help.

Thanks for all your advice in PMs and don't be a stranger, this internet thing works from everywhere you're at.

    Nice lid.

If you have three Quantum Xs how is it you don't have this one already?

If you don't it's too late now because I don't want to see you show up for a ride looking like we tried to dress alike.
