Got mine in less then a day in cuyahoga this past summer. I went in dropped off my form and got picture taken. Asked if they could contact me when it was mailed to me. I did'nt even get home yet and they called. Got it in the mail box the next morning.

Guy I did my ccw with was a range officer for cleveland p.d and says they have been getting some real crap ammo also. He warned us of an underpowered round not leaving the gun and the potential for have this happen. Sucks that the officer got hurt.

Undercharged will cause a bullet to lodge in the barrel and next shot would cause the barrel to split and blow out. Hey it's a glock what do you expect!LOL

Check these out if you are looking at a small frame semi auto. I almost bought one of these but went with a xd9sc. they are cheaper then the xd and get good reviews. Taurus 709 slim line in 9mm around $350-$375.

I just read all this info! I carry powerball in my xd9sc. I also have some of the corbon dpx in my house gun next to my 12ga with 00 buck in it.

I use to go every chance I got, but lost the land we use to hunt on. Friend of the family had a divorce and the wife got the land and no more hunting. Tried public land for the next season before my brother-in-law was shot at and that ended it for me. So I have been sitting it out for a few years wishing I could find a good place to hunt again. Guy I work with has some great land but like others will not let anyone hunt it.

I already have two shelter dogs or I would love to help. Shelter dogs make great pets, once you get them up to speed on training. My last shelter dog took a few weeks to get use to not eating out of the trash can but after that he is great. He looks like he has a little chow in him with the black spots on his tounge? Shelter dogs seem to be more loving maybe they are happy people save them?

Thats why I dont get my boxers in a bunch and just shoot to ENJOY it not get all fussy about terms and measurements. If I buy a $50 scope and put it on a $150 22lr and go shoot pop cans at 100 feet and have fun then thats what it's all about.

Yeah that is about right I just shot that at riverside this weekend with my subcompact. Went through a 16 round mag rapid fire at 22.5 yards and kept it in a 4 inch group with 16 shots. If I put a $150 scope on a mini 14 tactical With a bench I could shoot close to moa. It is the shooter not the weapon.

As far as value goes, you could check out gunbroker to see what they are selling for. I have a limited knowledge of gun values. I look on gun broker to see what they are selling for used. Might be a good start. Hope some others will help you if they know more.

yeah cause a $1000 scope is needed for a 100 meter shot?! maybe if you cant shoot LOL!

The mini I have now is a bench gun more then a off hand gun. Thats why I am looking to get the tactical one. Will keep the target model also if I cant get what I want for it.

Gun doc trigger job, smaller gas bushings, good scope, barrel strut would get you there or damn close for under $400 plus the gun still cheaper them most people have into there AR.

Yeah cause there are so many near me in cleveland, maybe one within a hour and a half drive! LOL

That is a stock ruger model I posted. And if I threw the money into it to make it as accurate as a AR I still would spend less money. I dont need a bench gun, I am looking for 100meter and under so this would be fine out of the box. If you still think mini 14 is not accurate I will let you shoot my target model, it aint bad for a semi auto. If I want sub moa I would buy a bolt gun.

Besides why buy an ar when I dont have anywhere to shoot it? It was fun to shoot the mini again but 22.5 yards aint real far at progun?

I have thought about it more I dont like the AR platform as much as the mini. It is to frigin complex. I like the simple design of the mini. I am leaning towards getting another mini 14 in the ati stock. I think I would be happier with it over the AR. This is the one I want to get.

Was good to get out of the house to shoot for once. Nice range first time there, nice that they let you shoot fmj out of a rifle. To bad my 91/30 ammo was metal core would have been nice to shoot it since i have had it about a year and have yet to shoot it. Yeah that mini is fun and it does THROW the brass out. I need a smaller gas port.
