I had to stay home for the kids b-day I got up around 7 and the kids were up already. I plan to head out tomorrow, hope to get the bow kill I been waiting for all year and taking the muzzy with me to sight in.

Will see if I can make it my work picked back up. They are talking monday through sunday the next few months.

We got to play with the camera at my Dad's Christmas party today. And I got some good shots with it. My wife got a nice close up of our boxer LOL! I am still reading the books and trying to figure out the settings on the camera. Here is one of mine I was trying the closeup settings.

We could do the fatheads on sheldon road it's the tap house where they make the beer. They opened a restaurant there also. The tap house is right by the IX center also like 5 mins away. I just recently bought a 89 2500 it has 293k+ on it and just did 300 miles in a week hauling a camper just fine. I say keep it and save the money for now.

We could do a meet at a family friendly place and still do the drinky party. We could do fat heads or berea brewing company, both would be fine for kids and still have a great beer selection. Edit: fat heads would have hotels pretty close by, berea brewing co. would be a few miles to hotels on bagley rd. If I can talk the wife into going this year we could drive a few people in the suv if they wanted a ride to the hotels.

I thought that was the point of a muzzle loader to feel more traditional LOL! Yeah it makes it way easier to clean the barrel with that plug there.

No nipples or caps it uses an inline breech plug that takes 209 shotgun primers. I am trying to get ahold of my buddy to go shoot this thing today LOL! Heater buddy in the back of the barn would be good to go.

Well went and picked up the muzzy today and a bunch of the stuff to get started. Cva optima v2 in camo/stainless with the fiber optic irons. I added a set of leopold see through rings with a bushnell banner 1.5x4.5x32 scope. On sale for $289, scope was $89 plus the weaver base and rings.

Quick question, would you have space to put up with my truck/camper for the night? I am going to be hunting that weekend but will be in the area, and would like to stop by after I get done hunting for the day. Would you mind if I parked there over night then left early the next morning to go back hunting?
