  4. Left a little early Sunday and beat the storm home. Still saw some great racing though. Took advantage of the mentor program Saturday and got a tow to get comfortable. Was great hanging with everyone and seeing the Jerry curl mullet stache guy at the Italian resteraunt. Fucking classic.
  5. I was sweating so much at work I took my phone out of my pocket in fear of water damage. Been pounding water especially in preparation for the sweatfest that's gonna be beaver run this weekend.
  6. Just got off the phone with the track. Its $15 a night to camp or $25 for the weekend and gates don't close friday night.
  7. Easiest places to look are the forums of any of the racing/trackday organizations Nesba Sport bike track time Motoseries wera just to name a few. It's rare you find any on craigslist because in comparison the market is much smaller. It's easiest to look were people share the same interest.
  8. That's my issue. I need to make sure I leave work in time to load up and make the 3 hr drive there. I'll call tomorrow to verify and post it up.
  9. Anyone know gate times Friday night? Beavers mobile site says 24hrs but not sure if that's right.
  10. i always bring more then enough snacks, drinks, and chairs to share. I also have space under my e-z up if you decide to come. I'm sure everyone will be willing to help while your there.
  11. Because he is also a pedophile. He was 40 years old and emancipated the 17 year old girl he got pregnant.
  12. I always pack food for the track. Wouldnt hurt to bring something extra to share. I thought the original talk was hitting the town saturday night. I know some of u have to race sunday but for us trackday/pit bitch guys a few beers must be had.
  13. Called a few more places but I really don't trust other people with my things. Iron pony was actually the cheapest off the bike at 117 with bringing in my own seals and that's a great price. Decided to give it a go myself still. Got the forks off tonight and plan on taking them into work tomorrow to disassemble. After hearing about the bushings an doing a little more searching it seems best to replace them while I'm in there. Pretty sure I can "adapt" some automotive tools to do what I need to do. between the chitons manual and the write up on rr.net I'm pretty sure I can do it. It's just finding the down time while at work.
  14. Went in the garage sunday and there is a small puddle under my forks. Guess it's time for new seals. I have a track day in 11 days and between work and other commitments i, more than likely, won't be able to do it myself. Any suggestions on where to take it or anyone want to assist or have the tools (spring compressor and seal driver I have all the standard hand tools needed) to help out. It's an 04 600rr with 05 inverted forks. I am certainly mechanically inclined and have read a pretty good write up on 600rr.net but never having done this and probably not having any time to test it out before pushing the bike hard on the track i would prefer help from someone thats done it before. The only day i can do it is this coming sunday. I pm'd hoblick not being sure if he does this but havent gotten a response yet. Called pegram service center and they want $200 off the bike plus seals. I think thats a bit much off the bike. Any suggestions or helping hands would be great. Thanks
  15. i don't remember exactly where it was but they had a demonstration set up where they put an 18 wheeler in a parking lot and parked 4 cars and 10 bikes around it. When u sat in the cab in the drivers seat u couldnt see a single one. Always be careful.
  16. this thread is full of so much win
  17. Paid this morning. See u bitches there.
  18. Marty gonna be taking pics or does beaver have there own track photographer?
  19. IN!!!!! Should be there friday night camp all weekend til sunday so i can watch some races and pit bitch.
  20. Imagine the negative g's when they hit the brakes.
  21. I know a few people that are/were selling and some realtors. They say that all these home improvement/flip this house/interior design tv shows are making people have unrealistic expectations of the housing market. Everyone's an expert and everything has to be perfect.
  22. wheels on or off the car and are you capable of operating the machine yourself? Where i work i'm free to do whatever off the clock and we have a tire machine u can use. They will not let u bring your car in and use there lifts and things of that sort but depending on your situation i can definitely help wether i do it for u or u bring them in off hte car and do it yourself.
  23. We went to Washington dc/Maryland last year. Helps thats where I was born and my parents still live there. 8 hour drive with multiple potty breaks for the little ones. We stayed for a week and did six flags, Baltimore aquarium and harbor, got tickets to go to the top of the Washington monument an tour the white house (planned well in advance), walked the plaza and visited a couple of the smithsonian museums and just 2 more hours east we went to rehobooth beach and spent a day at the ocean. pretty fun filled vacation with lots of fun/educational/cool things for the kiddies to remember. They still talk about it to this day and are already asking if we're going back this summer.
  24. This combined with all these flesh eating bacteria cases makes me think it's really starting.....well at least hoping. There's a few people I want to seek out and shoot in the face. Lol.
