  1. Leases are great for high end luxury cars ie BMW, Audi. Once those cars start getting close to big ticket maintenance items you will be glad it's time for a new one. Plus they are giving away free maintenance including oil changes on them now. Even Lexus I think. If your talking leasing a ford fiesta.....not worth it IMHO.
  2. Planned on getting with u at the riders meeting so that works. Thanks.
  3. I know u guys coach the novice class but i'm going to need a tow in the morning in intermediate to get me used to things. I did novice at mid-ohio and the coaches told me i need to be in intermediate and was running well into intermediate pace and form. I'm still a little nervous about going out there for the first time "solo" without a coach to follow and show me around.
  4. Hope this isn't a stupid question marty but do u take cash at the track? All the order forms say checks and i know some people dont like carrying cash.
  5. OK who's all going and who wants to be my big spoon Advanced 1. 2. 3. Intermediate 1. Standout 2. 3. novice 1. 2. 3. I won't be racing but may just hang out to watch and pit bitch Sunday
  6. fuck this. It's time to start up a new thread for the June 8th round that we can gay all up.
  7. thats way to much for that truck with that mileage. High mileage doesn't scare me. Both our vehicles have over 175k and tow occasionally. 2wd 95 dakota with a 318 and an 04 4wd explorer with the v6 4.0l. It all depends on how you take care of them. I have owned toyotas and hondas and they are great vehicles but anything will last a while if taken care of. The difference is i paid 1k for my dakota and 3k for her explorer. 7k for something with that high mileage is insane in my book. I know they hold there value but damn.
  8. little off topic but looking at doing june 8th at nelson. Does motoseries have a late fee and whats the cut off?
  9. Just an fyi for all the people who live in "good neighborhoods". Thieves don't steal from broke people. They go to the "good neighborhoods" and steal there. Doesn't matter how nice the neighborhood is they can't keep people out
  10. If u need another installed I can do it for u. I never trust anyone with my vehicles. Especially any form of in car entertainment free install or not. It's just to convenient for someone to know how it's installed, what was installed, security measures, and your address. I work at a dealer and have been installing subs, tv's and radios for years. It sounds like u have it handled though. I fuckin hate thieves.
  11. The problem with most cars and suv's is space or lack of. There great for hauling people but When u start toting spares, a pop-up, camping supplies, chairs grill yadda yadda yadda there's nothing that works like a pickup. With u having an open trailer u want all the extra carrying space u can get. Plus having a truck is great if u need to make the occasional home depot run or furniture move.
  12. Does voting for two mean I will have 2 reserved? Want one for me and the wife. It will be cool to identify everyone at the track wearing them. There were a ton of afj guys an gals with shirts at mid o. I was kinda jealous.
  13. Like into smaller pick-ups rangers, s-10, or a Dakota. There are so many different configurations for those trucks that you've got to be able to find one to your liking. 4,6 even v8. 6ft bed 8ft bed. 2 door 4door. But if your looking specifically for mileage a manual 2wd 4cyl ranger or s-10 would probably be your best bet.
  14. Chat roulette? Complete stranger maybe even from over seas that u have a 1 in a billion chance of meeting. All the good ideas were taken.
  15. Novice. Black guy (just makes it easier as there where only 2 in novice). Bright blue cbr. Blue and black leathers. All my childrens in garage 13 playing Xbox. Mike were u there or knew someone taking pics?
  16. Wich group were you coaching?
  17. any website were we can view and purchase photos? Where u the guy in the first garage uploading thruought the day.
  18. Funniest way to sum up some of the most d-bag threads in recent OR history. I'll be at mid-ohio this weekend.

I use driven. That's another option no one has mentioned. They are incredibly adjustable and can be ordered in pieces. I've even crash tested mine. Held up pretty well, bent but did not break. Replacement bars were mad cheap.
  21. Have to be present to win? Im not going but would still like a chance to win.
  22. was just an excuse to make me not look like a horrible rider. I didn't even know what was all involved in the test. I had went to renew my temps and just gave it a shot. No practice whatsoever. I was still a squid. low speed manueverability definitely was not my strong point.
  23. same thing happened to my wife while i was at putnam. Sucked for her because she was in line at the grocery store with a cart full of groceries. You think they would at least call you when they freeze your account but at least they declined the suspicious transactions (from norway of all places).
  24. even if you don't schedule, if they are doing the test that day if theres time/room they allow walk ins just like the class. I went to go renew my temps once and they asked if i wanted to just try the course since they were already doing it. I failed miserabley because i was on an r6. Took the msf class when it was available
  25. If your referring to mid Ohio don't do it. That's exactly the reason I am waiting until the last minute to sign up.
