  1. Wish I had taken more than a second to take this in hind site...hectic day yesterday...:)But I like it...a fun shot...Merry Christmas.

  9. Another train shot in CO somewhere...had a second after I saw the footy prints in the snow:DI was on the California Zephyr.
  10. I don't know Chevy...torn between the b&w and color... leaning towards the b&w....when ya have a dramatic moment or just an emotional moment some times or I should say a lot of the time a B&w seems to capture that moment better. Seeing WWII pics in black and white seem to be more dramatic than the colorized versions....
  11. Hello..may I help you... I got my eye on you:D
  12. The thing about pictures is that they should be shared...another pic I like like...on the train I think near Chicago last February...just a quick shot but I like it,not great by any means but it reminds me of the train ride.
  13. This was a Kodak moment....just what was happening...
  14. Fun on the bike...saw it and just had to get a pic.
  15. While this picture is very ordinary..to me it is cool... I was on the Texas Eagle train from LA to Chicago and I was in either Texas,NM or AZ...I'm always lost cruising along about 70mph or so,have a second to grab camera, uncap, turn on and take pic....what I pictured in my mind was half dozen bikes parked next to the river with tents set up,a fire going, grilling out steaks, corn on the cob etc. Everyone shooting the breeze and about midnight skinney dipping in the river, three of the riders were wives:Dor girl friends. I could see a bunch of horse riders seeing the same thing I was 100 years ago.
  16. Beautiful pics...B&W sometimes really works well as in the pics above. Wish I could get the pics you guys do. I don't mess with them,I show them as I took them.Sometimes I get a picture that is different that I like.. My cat Amtrak...he was showing off his muscle man look.. Not top quality, just a grab and shoot...like the dad at Grand canyon taking a picture of the family. My pics are for pure fun:D This was while I was on a train in Texas riding past a train station...spur of the moment but I like it and that is all that matters.
  17. Dang you guys are good.I am the Kodak moment guy:DI just take pics of what is around me,no set ups all spur of the moment what I see right now. I would like to see some of your pics guys.. I just do KISS pics..Keep it simple stupid....
  18. This little off shoot community of the main board kinda went no where:) Oh well..couldn't get any thing going here either..http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?p=754193#post754193 I think on this site the pace is every second.I am 57 so I am a bit slow at all this stuff so this place is more my speed. So what kinda direction are we headed for...pics in general or all mc related.I just point and shoot..I just like looking at pics.
  19. Yuppers that can happen...I have stayed away from the main board...not my style. But this is about picture taking:) I got a few, always like looking at pictures.
  20. Don't feel too bad..I forgot I was on this site at all..
