  1. Still have it and I also found her $50 Stella leather gloves I'll throw in also.
  2. Thanks for all the suggestions but I'm definitely leaning towards ninjanicks.
  3. After seeing a few riders yesterday I need to start looking for a one piece overpant riding gear with decent protection for commuting. Don't want to ranger up everyday for small commute. Any advice or experience appreciated.
  4. I think I saw my 6 year old neighbor chewing on his 90cc ATV fender instead of riding it. They should ban for lead:).
  5. It might work if you add a few pounds to the front to keep the wheels on the ground:D.
  6. I wouldn't think twice about using a F150 or 1500 series vehicle using this carrier. I wouldn't recommend it with your ford explorers or jeep type SUV's with heavier bikes. There is definitely a generous safety factor in the "hitch carrying" specs. Has a lot to do with wheel base also.
  7. DSC_0101.JPG Size XXL. Along with the normal protection pads I'm throwing in the optional back protector. $120.
  8. DSC_0099.JPG Like New. Size Medium. $120
  9. My truck is a 2500HD with a class IV hitch. The carrier has nice extend-able tie down points. I usually used straps around the front lower triple tree which put the straps on the inside of the mid/lower fairings. Then used the rear foot pegs to anchor the rear. I could load and strap the bike down myself.
  10. DSC_0095.JPG $80. Size XS. Practically new. Worn 3 times by my wife.
  11. That does look like good deal. I'm kind of leaning towards an enclosed trailer though.
  12. Looking to buy a trailer to haul my motorcycle and atv so this has to go. Bought it from this website. http://www.discountramps.com/hd-motorcycle-carrier.htm Looking to get $400. This carrier can support up to 600#'s. Carried my CBR 1000RR like it wasn't even back there.
  13. ATV and bike on one side and wife's car on the other side during the winter months.
  14. My liter bike was my first. It's not so much the size of the bike as it is the respect you give it and how careful you are with your right wrist.
  15. Sure hope mine doesn't go up again. I have SF also. Started at $287 for the year in 2007 and is currently $470 something. I did call on that and all they said because the reassessment on the amount of claims.
  16. I didn't mean to start a pissing contest. All I was trying to point out was that a 1000cc motor is more than capable of making more than 130hp. I felt that 1012's strong convicted statement felt otherwise.
  17. I'm confused by this statement. The motor is a 1000cc cbr rr motor. Again mine makes 150 at the wheel not knowing the parasitic loss through the drivetrain I'd take a wild stab that mine might make 170 at the motor. I understand they might detune it some I just think a 40hp difference is a lot.
  18. Does anyone know if these numbers are at the wheel? If so then power wise would be close to the Duc streetfighter if not than closer to the speed triple. I hope it's at the wheel. My 2006 1000rr makes 150 at the wheel. If not that's a whole lot of detuning.
  19. Also a fan of the fox body fords. Had a 93' with a procharged 331. Nice but had it's issues. If I get a chance to do it again. Notchback with a N/A 351W stroked to 408 either carbuerated or EFI if in the budget.
