Uh josh, it was via submarine. I dont know, we may be out in the next 2-3 years from iraq but the area will never be the same, its been destabilized and i dont see it turning around. we will cut our losses and pull the troops. and it may be soon. but i do see us heading down a bad road regarding iran, just as noted before, all the propaganda bullshit that was spread about iraq about how they hated us, how saddam was an immenent threat, wmd and all that is now making the rounds regarding iran. hell cnn had nothing but interviews with clerics and shit last night on why they hate the west, why they have no issues being martyrs for the cause etc etc, for over 6 hrs. I dont see us coming to any kind of conflict with russia. the stakes are just to high for a major war with really shitty consequences. we will continue this uneasy relationship we have with them, and we'll end up spliting up whatever recources are to be had. My 2 cents on all this

I'll second Baltimore as being a complete shithole, lived there for a year and a half, absolutly the worst place i have lived. Lima comes in second, i lived there for 4 years on and off while i was going to school. Detroit is a fucking ghosttown any more, its crazy. Speaking of retards, someone threw dogshit on my car friday night, and rt 79 is a mess, trash is everywhere. With everything done to that car, it should easily pull 20-25k with the right buyer. On the open market, I'd say 15-18k is more expectable. Just my opinion.

Some of you may have seen the thread i posted about the vr-4 i was looking to buy. well i have changed my mind, as i'm looking at a cobra, but i thought that there might be some intrest here in it. A friend of mine has it, and he also has a 2000 trans am that he is trying to sell, so i thought that might be good to toss in here as well. Details: 1994 3000gt vr-4. 6 spd. Black. The car overall is in excellent shape, good paint, new rims, interior is good shape. all the little electronic functions work. The car has 150k miles on it, but as far as performance goes, it runs good. its got great power, however the transmission grinds in 2nd and 3rd under full throttle. it may be a clutch issue, or it may need rebuilt. not sure which. Car is stock, minus rims, asking price is $8,000 obo. 2000 Trans am. 6spd. Black. 109k miles. I drove car last night, Its still nice and tight, doesn't feel loose at all, however it needs a few things addressed that we are working on. one of the o2 sensors are out and its got it running crappy. the tranny needs gone through, 5th and 6th syncro is all it needs, as 1st through 4th are fine.. The car will be tuned using hp tuners software before it is sold. it is also all stock. even though the 02 is out, its still a strong running car, it hung right with my Gt, and was with in 3-5 cars of another trans am that put down 341whp. Body is in great shape. i really couldnt find a flaw in it. the interior has just a few minor issues, overall in good shape. Asking price on it is $9,000 obo. I am going up to get some pics here in a few, and will post up later this evening if i can figure it out. With very little work both of these cars can be mint, and should be a great base for a buildup or even a very nice daily driver. Any questions feel free to give me a call @ 740-281-9976. something was majorly fucked from the factory, they replaced it 2 and rebuilt it another 6 times under warrenty, and i had it out 3 times to toss a used one in after that. theyd last like 3 weeks then something would gernade. its not normal lol. but if you go on srtforums you can see all the issues from 03 to now regarding that gearbox. and then i have heard plenty of stories like yours anthony. its a toss up if you get a good one or not.. yea i agree, i tell people about the issues i had to kinda show the extreme shit side of them, but overall i really do like em. hell id still have mine if it wasnt for the tranny issues. And these car crash hella well. look at crash photos and examine the cockpit. i remember threads of these kids losing them at over 120 mph and walking away from them... numerous times.

The drivetrain is shit, they make good power for a fairly decent price. i had an 04. i liked it but 11 transsmission failures later, not fond of the drivetrain at all. the motor on the other hand, is a beast. sprayed, overboosted, and many high rpm pulls. motor never had a single issue, never lost power, nada. it did eat spark plugs within about 6000 miles. go for it, i might buy another one as a project in a few years if that means anything.

Just out of curiosity, how do you like your wrx compared to the 3kgt when it was running in good shape? I wont mind basicly rebuilding the whole car, thats the idea over the long run, but i just want something other then the mustang to drive. its becoming more of a straight line car, and it sucks driving it on the highway. loud exhaust, drag radials, and no front sway bar makes for a sketchy ride sometimes.

the absolute best motorcycle road in america this side of the mississippi, second only to the angels crest highway in cali. i still want to get down there if i ever get back on two wheels, but i have a ton of friends who have been down there ( a few literaly lol.) and they say its insane.

I went out tonight and drove the car again, and yes it does ride fine around 130 lol. 6spd, 320hp and awd is getting really hard not to jump on. i cant belive how well these cars move 1st-3rd gear. after thinking about it, it really doesnt weigh much more then my mustang. Hey Jeff, you have a pm.
