buy a salvaged bike. get a 2001 or newer, that way you are almost sure to get an injected bike. look for something with cosmetic damage. Here's a good example, i could have picked up a 2003 rc-51 for a lil over 3k and all it needed was the shifter side rearset and shifter, farings and a wind screen. thats the way i'd do it, there are plenty of great salvage bikes out there.

Hell yea, I'm busy as hell right now trying to help shawn (1fastlt1) get the dyno in the ground and the shop together, and taking care of other stuff, plus i got a 68 coming from indiana to drop my motor in and do a few other things, but i would def. like to get together with you guys and bounce some ideas and questions off of both of you lol. Brian, i think you came down and looked at my buddy josh's 90 gt when he had it for sale, our shop is maybe a mile from his place, right off of 16 East. if nothing else, if you guys find yourselves out this way you could stop in for a few or something. all i can say, is its absolutly sick, and its crazy to think you could build a 25.1 certified car out of your home garage, at 24, and just learning how to weld, tig none the less on the same build. props to that kid

Well, here's the best thing i can tell you to find a fair price, and just a heads up, you might not like it. Take the "trade-in/wholesale" price off of kbb.com or nada.com and half it, due to the rebuilt title. The cars not really that bad man, that thing should make a great daily for someone, so figure that in as well. Edit: i just checked fair condition trade in is around $3700, so i would expect a fair price to be anywhere from $2,000-$3,000. and fyi, the fair condition private party sale value is around $5,300. that minor cosmetic damage and /or mechanical issues. I didnt see if you had listed the mileage, that might change it as i had 100,000 in there. Anyway, this is how i always buy and sell salvaged vehicles. hope it helps, and please dont take offense, and i'd say slap $3,500 on and go from there.

Hey just checked out your build up on that notch, thats one hell of a nice setup. Not that i really want to take it that far, but how much do you think you have wrapped up in the chassis so far? On the miny tub deal, i know the new edge cars can clear more tire then a fox, but how difficult is it? i'm really not sure i need to do it, as i know with rolling the lip on the quarterpanel my car should clear a 325-335/60/15 with the right rim. , so thats what, a 31x10.50 safely?

You da man, thanks! I'm sure ill have more questions, But as far as a rough idea on 1/4 mile times, any ideas? it will be through a c4 leaving on the brake, proabaly around 3500-4000 stall, probably 4.11 or 4.30's in a 8.8. I'm hoping to be around the low 10/high 9 sec range. possible?
