I think the only chance is convincing the parents how bad a idea it is. I got to the local jvs most every week for the past 8+years. Ive had this talk with more than a handful of kids who wanted to start on a powerful bike. I started on a 77 gs550 that was given to me....... A year n a half later i got a 89 hurricane and thought " no biggy... Only 50 more cc's. holy crap, it was so much faster than the gs........ Huge difference in gearing. Now i have a 91 CBR.... Pretty much same bike... But i didnt start riding will i was 40 so though i still have the stupid man issues that makes us adreniline junkies im old enough to not do the dumb shit..... Other than straight line acceleration for a few miles here n there. The other thing is with my age and the age of the bike my ins. Is only $108 a year. That being said i think the only other thing is him getn the bike.... Scaring the crap outta himself hopefully without killn himself.... Or someone else.

Hey.... I got a decent shoei x sp ii size small off of ebay. The padding in it is more broken down than i expected.... Ive emailed shoei twice about buyn new padding and they still havent bothered to answer. They could at least say no or we will look into it or something......... Any ideas?

There are to many fkn laws on guns as it is now...... How about they just inforce the ones that are already there. If you have a minor in your house and they injure or worse themselves you are held acountable by law. Jesus fknchrist...... I grew up in a house that had more tahn one rifle accessable.... Knew where the ammo was. Dad had a loaded 38 in easy reach on his milk truck. My best friends dad was a judge.... Anywhere ya went in his house you were within 5 feet of a loaded 38 or 45. There were 7 kids in our house and 2 in his including the amount of friends we had over. Nobody ever got injured or killed....... Why.... Not cause they were lockd up and safe..... Because we knew our fathers would hnad us our asses if we got caught with em. But that doesnt totally pertain to afore mentioned friend because he had 6 firearms in his closet......... The other major part.... We were taught guns and how to respect them. Theres a lot to be said for teachn kids how to repect things rather than hide em like they dont exist.

No parents...... Nuff said. There are so many that dont have the guidance or the ass whoopin that used to happen. Sounds stupidbut theres no fear there....... Love my parents but i knew if i did anything stupid id have hell to pay with dad. Theres a lot to be said about putn the fear of god in a kid ...... I help out at the local jvs and so many of those kids are " dude im lookn at a busa... Or a liter bike" and ill ask hace you rode. Answer is always "no this will be my first bike. Try to tell em its a real bad idea........ Just dont get it
