I would love it, because my wife wants one bad..... but dont have the means at this time. she like her sport trac, but really likes the ridgelines and the looks. this just sucks....... lol

voices in your head... funny... I thought I was the only one with that problem. Yeah, 22 ammo is cheap..... I havent bought new ammo for mine for several years cause I just dont get out to shoot it much. mainly cause my inlaws is the only place I have to shoot it cause the bullet travels so far. There I can shoot off a hill down into a valley.........

THanks mutt...... Went and fired it with my son and serveral of his friends saturday. god I love that gun.... heck of a thump for a small rifle. I looked up some info on carbines and know who made the barrel.... the manufacturers name is to far under the rear of the rear irons to see... but beleive its underwood. site was intersting with a lot of info.

actually its a newer verizon indestructable...... I'll try n get a better one and post it. I have looked and cant figure out the manufacturer. Me and my buddy bought em a bill goodmans gun n knife show at dayton in late 80's. my dad actually found me a 1944 feild manual for it. pretty sweet......

Here is a pic of my M1 carbine.... I decided to do a custom finish on it. I Know...I know...... I killed the value of the rifle. I dont give a poop... its my rifle and I have no plans of ever letting it go. My dad was in the Korean war and this is the brand of weapon he carried for scout missions since the M1 garand was so heavy. anyway..... tore it apart and sanded.. did several skim coats of glaze to smooth out the wood. now it has a nice, slick finish. fun rifle to shoot.....has a larger thump to it than people expect. looks sick with the bipod and a 30 round clip.

Ill take it for 25...... ours just started acting up for some unknown reason. no scratches or anything but says disk is unreadable.......... everything else works fine. just throwing my hat in the ring........ lol

sorry to hear.... seems like many here can understand where you are. My best friend from high school lost his other son this past summer. yeah, said other... his youngest passed years ago due to the neglect of his mother. (long story) anyway, his son was driving on 55 in troy and just veered right into a telephone pole. theres speculation he did it on purpose but we'll really never know.

well.... I would guess thats what he has invested. in the chopper craze a while back it would get that much out of it, but now with our suck ass economy and the chopper craze is all fizzled out he would be luck to get 10 to 15k. I have a good friend with a awesome iron horse chop and its only worth around 18k

I bought my own first car..... 77 nova with a straight six. twernt no racing that thing....... till I swapped it for a 327. I did stupid crap when I was young but I was on a country road with one other car so if I wiped out it was pretty much me and me alone. Oh.... and super car smuper car....... I hit 155 with that old ass non road huggn sumbitch. LOL

from a painters stand point... paint it whatever you want. its not about the value or other things.... its your personal preference. if you dont like it and want it a different or special color.... go for it
