  1. Given the importance of this ticket to his job I'd be hiring a good lawyer. Never gone that fast myself, but a professional can pick that apart and probably find something missing in the process.
  2. I see it's Wednesday welcome the n00bs day. My front page now has nothing interesting on it

  3. Probably not needed on a sportbike. On a big motor cruiser or dualsport I'd take it in a heartbeat!
  4. Well it's not a Busa. We Yamaha guys have to measure things with terms like "wheelspin" and not by the earth's rotation

Have to say though, riding is always amazing, but it's never better than when you're just starting out. So the enthusiasm is understood.
  6. God I hope so. Even $200 per tire on anything but a sports car is excessive.
  7. No kidding! This thread has no pics, boooooooooooooring!

Yeah, sorry for using that pic of you without your permission
  9. Looks really nice, all of these people selling their bikes is sad. *Bump*
  10. Found an oily section coming up to a stoplight yesterday, felt like both wheels locked up for a split second. Kept it upright and didn't hit the truck in front of me! Everybody keep your eyes open. Oh, and took 161 to get home yesterday, slowest. ride. ever.
  11. This one is my favorite ad ever. (Ebay one is removed but this page quotes the whole thing) http://www.themotorreport.com.au/24657/truly-awesome/

    Gasm!

Lazy Triumph, that's a pretty minor facelift.
  13. Before it throws you off an exit ramp. True story

Progress is progress, next step is this:
  15. I also like that the hydraulic system is a reasonable alternative to chain.
  16. Not fun to thrash until you get rid of the stock rubber! Trust me, once it's so far onto it's side there's not much shoulder on that tire! Otherwise I'd say no more than $2000 for that. Oh and yes, upper fairings are expensive
  17. Haha, not as good as the classic eBay postie scooter add, but still worth a lol
  18. Wow, I didn't know anyone was really trying to do this. And on a sportbike? I need to hear more! Wonder how easy it is to overload the front wheel?
  19. Thanks for the link. Just started reading, love this line "To prevent all that ugly stuff from happening, we wear helmets. Modern, full-face helmets, if we have enough brains to protect, that is."
