  1. Ohio Riders, Y U NO... fuck it it's obvious.
  2. Article says few, if any retailers will actually implement this fee anyway due to state prohibitions and the like. Don't get too ruffled up.
  3. http://www.cnn.com/2013/01/24/politics/congress-gun-control/index.html?hpt=hp_c3 New reports coming out of CNN seem to show the Sen. Diane Feinstein was in a room with six assault weapons, nearly 6x more than the number used in the Sandy Hook shooting, and appears to have survived. As the photo below shows, she was within mere feet of these deadly devices and somehow emerged unscathed. Details to follow as they become available. #gunskillpeople
  4. Good thing judges have judicial immunity! They can basically do whatever they want without fear of repercussions, iirc.

    Beer Pics

The beer ABV law is ridiculous anyway. If you can buy other drinks with higher ABV, why not beer?
  6. Lol, I'll give it a try at recording tomorrow. Oddly, it didn't do it this morning and I noticed I left the heated seats turned off over night and on start up and it was definitely cold enough that I expected a grind. Usually I leave the seat heat in the on position just so I don't have to mess with turning it on every morning. FWIW: they dont heat without the car on, I've checked.
  7. cool, thanks. Should I pull the aftermarket HIDs from the car before taking it in or will that not matter?
  8. Is this something I should take in to the dealer since it's still under warranty?
  9. Wouldn't you expect belts to continue to squeal after start up? It only makes noise for about 1 second then runs fine with no issues.
  10. It's got whatever filter and lube Goodyear put in the car when I took it in nearly 3k ago. It's a really loud, high-pitched squeal.
  11. Since things have gotten cold out, my 09 Legacy has been having some... grinding? sounds on start up, like when you try to turn the key in the ignition when the car is already running, that kind of sound. Only it's on start up, and only the first start of the day in freezing weather. My initial thought was battery, cause it was a bit hard to turn it over too. So I went to Advance, got the battery, starter, and alternator tested and the battery was on the outs, so I replaced the 490 CCA OEM battery with a new Optima Red Top 720 CCA battery. Seemed to be doing the trick since the hard starts were resolved, but now when it's really cold out (sub-32) it's back to doing it again. I tried putting it on my Noco 1.1A trickle charger to get it fully charged and still seems to be doing it. But even on a day like today where it's 10 degrees out, it only does it on the initial start up in the morning, not when I leave work at 5pm and it's still like 15 degrees out. Any help? I'm getting kind of tired of this and I dont want to be doing damage to the parts. It's under warranty FWIW and I can take it in to the shop, just might need to pull the HIDs first.
  12. May have cooked at too high of a temp and hit internal temperature too quickly? The outside looks just fine, but if it's too tough, it probably didn't spend enough time in the smoker to break down the connective tissues. How long did you have it in for and at about what temp? I usually have to get up around 4am to start a brisket if I want for dinner that same day and cook at 225-250.
  13. Good choice! I really like the versatility of the Ridgeline, even though "real" truck guys will give you a bit of crap. The under-bed cooler is pretty cool.
  14. For some reason this page was on my tablet today. Not a picture, but a real WW2 operation. Good to see in the face of pure evil the Brits kept their sense of humor. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Blackcock
  15. Just remember if you commit a crime and those are found you're now a neonazi sympathizer in the news ;-)
  16. The mental health aspect of everything is just a poor idea. On the surface, it sounds like a solution, but deeper it's not. If I own a gun or would like to own one, will I seek help for my mental illness? If physicians are held responsible for "missing" the crazed killer, how will that impact the treatment of otherwise non-"crazed" mental health patients? We have HIPAA for this EXACT reason: because we DON'T want people to have ANY barriers to seeking treatment, and there are no diagnoses more stigmatized and hard to get people to seek treatment for than mental illness. Last stat I saw was that the average depressed person suffers for TEN YEARS before seeking treatment as it is already. I'm sorry, but I just don't see a good way to connect mental health with commercial firearm sales in a way that makes this worse.
