  1. This is actually true. There's also some studies linking triclosan to muscle weakness.
  2. Anyone know if the OEM GT9B-4 battery in a 2004 R6 is an AGM?
  3. Goodbye fat tax refund I was counting on to help pay down the Duc...
  4. Oh I know, will never affect myself or wife either. But I don't understand why it's ok to make $400k each if you're not married, but you get penalized if you marry each other.
  5. I dont understand why the government takes marital status into account when doing taxes. "Wealthy" is $400,000 or $450,000 if married? It's ok if one of you has a $400,000 job so long as the other doesn't make more than $50,000 or just dont get married?
  6. Just finished slicing up the pastrami I smoked yesterday. I really need to get a meat slicer next time though.
  7. I didn't see a single american-made vehicle in Nicaragua or Costa Rica. Not that they're huge markets, but still, it was odd. And I'd agree, both those countries only had Nissan and Toyotas.
  8. IP - when I was in Nicaragua last year, they had the Navarra and a Toyota Hilux 4-cyl turbo diesels everywhere. I wanted one so badly!
  9. I know we do stickers, but have we ever looked into getting license plate brackets? I'd rock one.
  10. Making 4 pounds of pastrami tomorrow!
  11. Beautiful rifle! I LOVE old, wooden bolt-actions! Would go nicely with my Mauser, but alas, the wife will kill me. GLWS!
  12. And don't get me wrong, there's plenty of tattoos that people will be proud of throughout their life, but some of these that seem awesome now, like the spiderman outfit ripping through someone's chest or this one just seem cool, but not a lot of meaning behind them.
  13. I get the "coolness" of the tat and how uniquely it's implemented, but who seriously loves shock absorbers that much? What is gonna tell his grandkids when he's old and it looks poor, "There was this one time, back when I was young, that I was really excited about compression damping."
  14. IMO, as far as the Outback/Legacy Hatchbacks go, the 2009+ models are nicer. The older ones (aka: the hatch of my Legacy) look too small. Are you looking at CPO cars? The extended warranty is like 6yr/100k mi, not too shabby.
  15. Will the H-4 be enough power for towing all that? And a white limited? You and I will match ;-) The heated leather and harman/kardon systems are nice.
  16. IIRC, either they don't offer or it's pointless to get a manual with the new CVTs they put in the later models.
  17. I'd bet you'd like the Outback H-6. I just got a Legacy 2.5i Limited last year and I love it. Definitely going to consider one of the newer Outbacks whenever our family eventually expands. Get the limited edition with winter package, very nice.
  18. I have a buddy who might be interested. You live in Maryland though?
  19. I don't understand the point of grandfathering in weapons that are so dangerous they needed to be banned in the first place. if they're so dangerous, they should be confiscating them.
  20. Got two excellent gifts this year: first my wife let me get my Duc! (We're counting that as my Christmas gift from her this year) Then my parents got my Dad and I tickets to the Packers-Titans game at Lambeau Field this past Sunday:
  21. Thanks Casper! The battery in my Subaru is getting scary below 30 degrees and probably time to swap. $50 off $200 as well for what it's worth.
