Yes and hell yes. Cane's is the shit if you want some good chicken fingers, I go to the one in Gahanna all the time. Haven't been to PJ's since the fire, but it's some of the best drunk food money that you haven't blown on cherry bombs can buy. Funny story about Lego's and a contributing factor to why they cost what they do for little pieces of injection molded plastic. Lego engineers their molds to be ridiculously precise, down to .002mm. This is to make sure that any Lego can fit to any other Lego, and can continue to do so under repeated building. The molds are completely destroyed after a certain time, so all those old school space sets you have out there you better hold on to That's why the cheaper knockoffs always fell out or didn't work as well, the molds weren't enginerded as well as Lego's.

You mean like inside the tank? Rust. If you have a rusty tank, to get rid of it you're talking electrolysis (can't exactly get a brillo pad down in there) and a massive pain in the ass.

Especially given the age, and the fact that a petcock rebuild isn't something that on the top of people's list when bike maintenance rolls around, tells me that it's probably never been done. It's far more likely to be that than a spontaneous hole in the tank, unless there's some contributing damage like a drop.

I'll bet dollars to donuts that it's the petcock or petcock seals. Petcock rebuild kits aren't that expensive, the only bitch of it is getting the fuel tank off.

I have to figure out where to take the Katana to get estimated for insurance. Obviously I'm not going to parade this thing around Columbus, so I'm looking for a good shop to drop this thing off at and see what happens with State Farm. Anyone know a guy who knows a guy?

Well then I'm not going to argue, and I should have picked them up in store with the price difference I ended up paying for them. I'll be there in about a hour to make up for it, need to pick up a jacket and possibly a new helmet.

I'm pretty sure the in-store price wasn't 109.99. I distincly remember looking to see what the price was, the rear was 190 something and fronts were 170 something. I'll have to look again tonight as I have to get some replacement gear, but if the price is what you say it is I would have had no problem picking them up in-store.
