  1. So I have bad news and extremely good news.

The Bad: I'm not moving back to Ohio.

The Good: In 24 days I'll be working for Bazzaz as a tech in their R&D department. I am beyond excited about this opportunity, as it puts me right in the middle of the race and performance aspect of motorcycles.

  2. Well it's not exactly a small school. Three shifts of classes, mornings, afternoons, and evenings, new students starting every 6 weeks, 3 buildings. Plus multiple different manufactures to choose from, he could go there and I would have no idea. I'm in evening classes so I never interact with the morning kids and only sometimes with the afternoon guys.

  3. Greetings my long lost friends in, apparently extremely rainy, Ohio!

My time here in Phoenix is finally coming to an end, and my graduation date is set for July 15th. Despite the year long riding weather and close proximity to some decent roads I have no desire to stay here after I graduate from MMI. Since starting at MMI I've been kicking ass and taking names, maintaining a 4.0 and perfect attendance; I'll be graduating with certs in Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, and BMW. So if you know of any shops looking for an entry level tech please let me know. Oh and I suppose I would take pretty much any position except for lot tech, so let me know about any service writer or parts positions too.

Thanks Guys, hope to see you soon :D

  4. Lol, the new wheels look way better, they're the six spoke design as opposed to the tri-spoke, plus I'm doing a swing arm swap and will be using the newer style rear wheel, so might as well get the newer front as well.

Rotors might or might not swap over, depends on the bolt spacing.

  5. Not that hard, thank god! Kawasaki did not change the bearing and race sizes in the steering stem, so while you will need the new triple tree and clip-ons, you wont need to do anything else. The new triples are needed b/c the Showa BPFs are larger in diameter than the KYB forks that come stock on the 03-04's (I think anything up to an 08 are the same diameter b/c they're all KYB's).

Another thing, while the 03 rim does fit on with the 09 axle and spacers, the rotors don't match up to the calipers, so I'm gonna have to buy an 09 wheel before my first track day in March.

The project isn't completely done yet since I don't have the cables routed, and old switches mounted, or my steel braided lines switched over, but I'll get pictures up when it's done :D
