Why bother if you still have to wear glasses or lenses??? I've went for consultations every few years as the technology and science improves. I'm still not eligible as my cornea is too thin. They said they could "improve" my vision but I would still have to wear lenses. I just don't see the point.

I guess they have to put an expiration date. If not the cost of the promised merchandise could skyrocket in price and the dealer could incur substantial losses. What is important is they honored it.

Actually there was an editorial in one of the bike mags in which the author expressed his dismay that while riding in Europe no one returned his "wave". He was told by a group of Europan riders it wasn't cool as it signified you were not paying full attention to your riding etc. So it is not done in Europe. I was out and about today and did not get one wave. I now wave if someone waves at me otherwaise I don't bother. I get lots of weird looks, grins etc. because I live in a county of H-D's and I stand out in full gear.

I looked at your pic. Unique paint job. I didn't think you could paint over the decals. I was thinking of a solid black one but they were still over $300.

Actually all my helmets are the same size ( large). This one seems a little roomier. Though When I changed the cheek pads it fit a little better. It definitely is not too small.

Well Just picked up a new lid. A Bell Star Ace of Spades. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet but of my three helemts it is easily the better one. really light, tons of ventlation and attention to detail. Great deal on Ebay.. only $199 for a helmet that retails for up to $538 or so when first introduced and still lists for $300 or more at most shops. Got the tinted shield as well. Anyone else have any experience with this helmet?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like the way they look and especially sound but they are a bit heavy compared to my current bike. Still would like to have one.

So far so good! NO jams. No feed issues. Some of these problems were with earlier models. When I bought mine there was a line of people waiting to get one. It is small but then that is why I bought it. You can conceal it anywhere. Though I agree with you the hand feel is not what I prefer. In regards to sights..Not sure about that one. It has sights thought not adjustable. However, like you said these guns are meant for close quarters and in most situations, you generally don't have time to site. (I'm sure everyone will jump in here.) Most "self-defense" situations with a mobile attacker you will only have enough time to pull and shoot. In regards to the Walther.. I went online and heard they are not reliable and have quality control issues. The fact both guns have somewhat shakey reputations and yet the fact we both love them goes to show you can't believe everything you hear. It would be nice if people could go to a sight and give feedback on the guns like on Amazon.. It would probably give a clearer picture.

I have a Rueger LCP that I carry almost everyday. I'm waiting on the new S&W Bodyguard .380 with Laser supposed to come out in May. Could be a good choice.
