  1. I've been doing it all wrong. You're not supposed to wear any clothing under your leathers...
  2. It's only fair given all the criminals that carry concealed make it a point to take the course and get their license. As good law abiding citizens we should do no less.
  3. True.. I've thought about that as well. We generally rent quads every year in Costa Rica. We each have our own and it is a blast.
  4. My daughter has all 4 of the novels. I imagine if you read them you'd know what was going to happen in the theater since each movie is based on the subsequent novel.
  5. Looks like a stapler I have on my desk.
  6. Houston Alexander was very disappointing.
  7. Ok. I use the Hornady Critical defense in my 9 and currently magtechs in my 380. Why Corbon DPX? Why not Hornady in both?
  8. It is my opinion that if I'm concerned for my safety to the point of drawing and using my gun than I plan on using deadly force. Leg shots etc..... Not happening. With the adrenaline and more than likely the abruptness of the situation I'm going for the easiest shot. The chest and then the head. The deadlier the ammo the better. Correct me if I'm wrong but you have a better chance of being taken to court if the assailant is left alive.. ?? With that said, not having done much research.. what ammo would you guys recommend for my 9 mm and my 380? I use hollow points now though I did not do much research on the subject.
  9. All good points. Being near a lake and not too far from the "country" leaves me in a dilemma. I do believe I would get more use from a quad. However the PWC would allow more of a family outing since you can get ones that seat 3.
  10. I'm 5 miles down from East Fork lake. One of the reasons for a PWC.
  11. A good ski boat would most likely be out of my price range.. though I've thought about a boat.
  12. Ok. Next Spring/Summer I've been debating on purchasing either a quad or a PWC. I haven't selected any specific model. Just getting comments on which to purchase based on avauilable trails/water bodies etc. Any opinions are welcome..If you have a preferred model shout it out.
  13. Hmmm... Not really I was reading while waiting for the family in Biggs. It's the one with the annual handgun review.
  14. My first choice. I would only use my weapon if absolutely necessary. I prefer hand to hand actually.
  15. I've read where some juries in self defense casees have ruled against individuals that carried high powered ammo. They say it suggests you intended to make a "kill" rather than just defending yourself. Good article in Handgun Magazine. But I agree with the above.
  16. Very nice Glock. I've considered one of those though I think my next pistol will be a .45. I carry a S&W M&P compact 9 mm with Hornady Critical defense rounds. However just picked up a Ruger LCP .380 I've got loaded with Magtech self defense ammo, not my first choice but all they had . So much lighter to carry and you can conceal it anywhere. I plan on getting one for my wife as well when she completes her CCW classes and gets her permit. It may not have the stopping power of the 9 or the 40. But it will do the job and is nearly impossible to discern on your person.
  17. Crap! I would have went but my wife's out of town and I have my daughter to look after.
  18. Wow! Ok you have passed the first level grasshopper. Tomorrow you will try to kill a canary taped to the inside of its cage.
  19. NIce Garage..hopefully I'll get mine looking that good next Spring.
  20. LOL - I agree with the dump him part but she should hold off on the NBA players.. there are kids involved...
  21. Same here. I've been cheated on but have never cheated. Quite frankly I still like to look but just don't have the desire to flirt let alone cheat. My wife pretty much meets all my needs.
  22. Target World as well as a local shop near me. The LCP cost $299
