  1. The number of un employed depending on how you calculate it.
  2. Hmmmmm... what is 787 Billion divided by 15 million? 787,000,000,000/15,000,000 = $52,466 per person. Just being cynical but you have to wonder about that stimulus package that our kids will be paying for.
  3. Nope I described it right ( though I spelled it wrong) - per your link we drink the Costa Rica version - given my wife is from Costa Rica -
  4. Did some business courses at UOP and Devry. Devry is a bit more reputable - have to really keep an eye on acreditation as mentioned. The worth of the degrees varies greatly with the subject. The classes were very easy though required a great deal of reading and online interaction with fellow classmates across time zones. I'm planning on going to UC for additional classes in the future. Don't trust the value of an "online" degree.
  5. My Avatar ws last year's costume.. If my suit is working as planned I get fewer kids asking for candy... This year I'm thinking of a werewolf.. killer clown or just a variation on the skeleton outfit..
  6. Hmmmm... I'd put my arms around Him ( her) and say "Life" you can keep the lemons.. I just want to discuss a few things... If he ( she) refuses .. then trade them for Limes add salt and beer and you have a michilata

Crap. Been wanting to go with you guys before the year runs out. However, I have to pick up a VP at the airport - take her to her hotel - then a power lunch followed by meetings with upper management than dinner.. Normally an enjoyable time - were it not going to be perhaps the last really good riding day...
  9. really? Isn't that your girlfriend in your avatar?
  10. Women of color are the most beautiful in the world. Not that I'm knocking "white" women... just have my preferences..

    Adios Dayton!

    Good Luck hitting the books..
  12. Actually I look more like RVT Pilot. I could never get the flame thing right.
  13. Yep.. I even dressed up Like Ninjanick a a tribute to all his contributions to this site. Take a look at my Avatar!!
  14. Awesome car! I went to look at a Solstice GXP and there was a G8 sitting next to it on the floor. When you look at the price of the G8 vs the Solstice GXP you wonder why the Solstice cost as much as it does. I'd love to have a G8. Mileage is pretty low though.
  15. Not too quick on those roads with my bike. But I slid my MR2 around many of those curves during the lunch hour.
  16. I rented an Aura and test drove a "Solstice" Pontiac's Sky. Actually they were both nice cars.
  17. Hmm... I guess someone didn't like my comments. Got neg rep. As usual no sig. Called me a "retard". Funny given he could not spell the contraction "you're" he wrote "your". hey man... I am glad you're ok. I did have a friend with a 300 ZX. Just bought it and was entering an on ramp when he hit a stream of water, hydo-planed and spun 180 - ended up facing the opposite direction on the shoulder. Had the car fixed - slight damage - and sold it. I guess he thought it was bad luck or something.
  18. Personally - I believe he exists.. I just don't believe he intervenes as often as people would imply. It is just hard for me to reconcile his saving you in that particular instance while somewhere an innocent child dies from a horribly disfiguring disease or dies from a beating from his alcoholic mother or father. In your case you had ample opportunity to make choices that could have contributed or avoided your experience.. in my example the children did not. So why would God pass them up and yet assist you? Perhaps he did or didn't. I don't know. Just food for thought. Didn't mean to hijack your thread but - like you my thoughts are often on God and how and when he interacts with us.
  19. Don't get me wrong..Hey the fact you believe at all makes you tops in my book. I just don't believe God intervenes in such a random fashion to prevent a traffic accident, or a win for a football game while millions suffer from poverty, disease, hunger etc. Once you start crediting him for intervening when something goes your way then you also open the door of having to blame him when it doesn't...just a thought.
  20. Hmmm.. never saw that movie. I'll have to look it up at video store.
  21. I think the point being is that if they let individuals watch a system being installed you could potentially steal someone elses bike using the knowledge gained, if not you or someone you know etc. There are a lot of big mouths out there. As mentioned loactions can vary, Though you may not know the exact location, you would know what the equipment looks like. Not everyone carries a schematic of their bike in their heads. Why is everyone beefing over watching the install????? Lojack has a proven system. You guys want to take a proven system and $%^^ with it. Just go ahead and buy another alarm system if you don't like it. In regards to the insurance deductible vs Lojack argument... My only comment ... deductible or not.. I don't want to "give" my bike to anyone.. if having a Lojack system allows me to get the ass hole that stole my bike ... awesome..regardless of whether my bike has been paid for or replaced by the insurance companies. Lojack deterrs theft ..insurance deductibles do not.
  22. God? Funny how he shows up late so often. He must enjoy the preview before he intervenes. Kind of like when people pray for a win at a game.. he's got nothing else to do with his powers, given the state of the world, than to influence sporting events. Not picking on you just commenting in general... you hear this stuff all the time.
