  1. Hey girl...you know I didn't mean anything by it. Just thought about your "freakishly tall" comment when I pictured myself on a 250 that's all. Srsly, though I haven't even met you in person yet.... My bad though. Didn't mean to chuck you under the bus like that.
  2. Ha ha! I have that same bike. Now let's see you take the right foot off.... and while you're at it, get a new camera man....j/k
  3. Yes! Registering her tomorrow. Unfortunately it will be raining all week and my husband will be gone, so I won't have a chance to get out of my neighborhood . But, any chance I get to ride to work on a nice day...I am takin it!!! And, I plan on making an appearance at one of the QS&L bike nights....hopefully in the near future. I'll tell ya man, when you have a full time job that you commute 100 miles for, and a full-time mommy job, it is hard to ever get this kind of time for yourself!!
  4. Welcome, you know, it is awesome that you have a boyfriend that would do that for you. There is a future there! And, coming from someone who has been with the same man since she was 15 (that would be 12.5 years now), this is a really good start to a long future. I just recently sold my Ninja 500R. It was an awesome first bike (still have pics on my profile) and upgraded to an 08 Suzuki SV650. I looked at the 250's at first, but like Smuckgirl, I am a giant and looked like a clown on it. My 500 even felt a little small for me, but my 650 is perfect. Just picked it up on Saturday. Dublin isn't far from me so if you ever want to ride, let me know!!
  5. And that my friends is what we call a shopping cart
  6. Yeah I posted this in the Ghost Rider thread thinking it was the Ghost Rider taking the digger.
  7. Awwww, that's sweet. I have three daughters, one turning 8 in June. I should probably start planning trips with each one of them also.

  13. Here is a good article if you have time to burn. It is kinda lengthy but it discusses the whole calorie thing http://www.johnberardi.com/articles/nutrition/new_view.htm
  14. Just thought I would share my caloric intake for the day - Breakfast: 2 pouches of Strawberries and Cream oatmeal - 260 calories Lunch: One chicken corn dog - 180 calories Slimfast - 180 Calories Snack: Bag of TGI Friday's Fried Potatoe skins (bbq cheese flavored) - 150 calories Coffee: 40 calories (I use low fat creamer and two splenda packets) Tea: Sweeten with honey - 60 calories Total for today so far: 920 calories It is only almost 2 and I have 580 calories to go. Maybe I will have another bag of chips...mmmmm
  15. I would have never guessed....
  16. I just eat what I want as long as I stay right at 1500 calories. So, I can eat a big mac, but that will be 700 calories of my daily intake, and more than likely I will be hungry again later. But, I also can tell a difference in how my body reacts to certain foods (especially ones I love). I can't eat a snickers bar anymore without my stomach yelling at me (almost literaly). Those things upset my stomach so bad I just learned to stay away from them out of fear. Even milky ways do it. Must be a chocolate thing for me now. And red meat....oh god. I love my steak medium rare, but I am payin' for it later... and so is anyone else that is downwind. So, since I have really been "listening to my body", I have been eating better...but, more or else out of fear of having to sleep in the fetal position.
  17. Hey, is the food free? Well, then I'm there!!!!
  18. I go to the beach to get a tan. Where are the artificial UV rays in here?
  19. Yeah, that sucks man. But it doesn't make you a bachelor!
  20. I totally understand where you are coming from. Yes, orders are orders and should be followed, but not if you know they are violating your rights. If this dude told his superior "Hey I don't agree with this, i really need to leave" and they said no, then they are wrong. If he was just like "Hey, can I leave?", and they said no then they didn't know the whole situation and were not in the wrong. You really have to evaluate the situation in its intirety, disect it and get to the bottom of it. He could have left, but he had to have had to explain why. Not just ask to leave without a reason. Like, if the dude had to take a huge dump and he was prairie doggin and just asked if he could leave without giving a reason, and they said no, then it is on him when he craps his pants. But, if he says, hey I have to take a huge dump and I am about to diaria in my pants, and they say no, then they are held accountable when the dude craps all over the place. I must be the only one that sees it this way.
