HOw come nobody wants to come out to Marysville? Everything is always in Columbus and I never have time to ride out there. Why don't you make it bike night at the BWW in Marysville? Then I will be able to show my pretty face

So, I ride to work 50 miles one way from Marysville to Dayton. I think you just need to be defensive that's all and stay in the right lane the first time. I rode on 70 in Dayton going to work that day about a month ago when winds were at 30 mph. Did I think I was gonna die? Ummmm, yes. But, I felt way more confident when it was all said and done. First thing you gotta do before you ride to work is get some cahonies Just do it. Leave early, ride defensive, watch out for deer (I have almost hit two so far), keep up with traffic. If you ride too slow you become the danger. Oh, and check the weather

I actually get more attention from kids, too, cause they love to see "ladies" on bikes.

I just shake my head at people like that and go on about my business. But, then again, I think if I didn't have pink flowers and butterflies on my gear, people would think I am a dude anyway cause I am big. I am one of those special cases (like Sara and Ananda) that don't have to lower their bikes to touch the ground. Not saying you did, but I get the double-take look all the time from chicks and dudes, like they are looking to see if I have a vagina or something. I haven't had that problem with people trying to race me. *shrug*

Yeah...had to wear my ghey neon yellow "here I am don't hit me" vest. Don't need a helmet sticker though. They just check cac cards now. no stickers necessary. -

Thought I would share. Friday was cool. We had a motorcycle safety day at the base. Overall there were about 224 riders. We went on a huge group ride (lasted about half an hour, not that long). All in all, an interesting day. I should have more pictures (better pictures) later because they took a bunch. These pics are from my phone, so they aren't that great, but not bad. I couldn't get into my photobucket account, so attachments will have to do.

No, if you get with casper and ask him before you post, you can post up any charity events. I was just doing the American Heart Association Jump Rope for hearts for my daughter. I have a heart condition, so I was promoting it. He can put a sticky on it though so you don't have to keep bumping your post. Wish I could say I know some businesses around here but I really don't.

Hey Sara, my name is Sarah! I do the dirt thing sometimes with the hubby. I have a CRF 230, but have fallen off almost every time I go out on it. Still have a bruise on my thigh from getting pitched over the handlebars last October. I know...pathetic. Welcome to the madness!!
