  1. My brother got this same seat (well the pro version) from IPS for a great price a couple years ago.
  2. When you get > 215k miles on a K03 they won't spool until after 3k anyhow...problem solved
  3. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110540
  4. My E55 is 515hp / 560 tq, 60k miles, nicer interior than the V, under $24k. ....just sayin.
  5. my commute at 6:30 was a non issue this morning. wasn't even enough snow left to have any fun with.
  6. Nobody wants to talk about 4 wheel steering on the new GT3?
  7. Marquee. Absolutely worth it. We just got back a few weeks ago and stayed at Cosmo because I knew I was going to spend most of my time and money at Marquee. Their day club looks awesome too but wasn't open a few weeks ago and won't likely be open in April either.
  8. Going from 75 to 100 isn't that big of an issue to me but going from 3 groups to 4 does suck and will impact track time. Extend past 5 to compensate for extra run group and keep track time at a premium awesome, otherwise I'd rather see 3 groups of 33 vs 4 groups of 25 Just my .02
  9. There's a video from evo magazine where they talk about < 100 millisecond shifts. Basically at full throttle you gain 1/2 car length per up shift. So at someplace like mid ohio where that car only uses 3rd and 4th the tranny is worth 1 car length per lap. Not exactly earth shattering. It's not like I need to worry about it, I won't be able to put one of these in my garage for years. Until then I'll dance on the pedals of the version I do have which has no stability control, regular manual transmission, no traction control, hydraulic steering, no nav, no radio at all actually. I even tried to find an A/C delete car but didn't succeed. It does have fancy yellow seat belts though.
  10. PDK is for no talent ass clowns. Maybe I'm just jealous that an old timer like me that spent soo much time mastering the pedals is something many will never need to master. I've been in a PDK car they are slick. Porsche got sick of covering pressure plate failures under warranty because soo many ass clowns were buying and breaking their equipment due to lack of talent.
  11. Here's my take. They keep making them better and better but a GT3 is a drivers car and they keep getting further and further away from that New car has 20" wheels standard when nobody is making 20" r-compound rubber. PDK tranny only which may be a superior technology but takes some of the art of driving out of the equation. The center lock wheels remain which has proven to be a major failure. They have had so many center lock failures that if you track your car you must replace the uprights and hubs every 4500 miles or be subject to failure. That newer better more gadgety interior is nothing but added weight and distraction. It is sexy as hell though. 475 Hp out of normally aspirated 3.8 that revs to 9k rpm is to die for
  12. I was particularly happy he played his Silence remix. That was always my slam back in the day. The pyro display right at the peak of the song was pretty on point.
  13. I'm a huge dork / fan of electronic music. I've seen world class DJ's in top clubs from Miami to Ibiza and was apprehensive the sound and light show would suffer in such a large venu. Much to my surprise everything exceeded my expectations last night. Great time, huge crowd, energy in the room was amazing.
  14. You know as I look closer the row is GA3 - Hoping GA = General Admission. Our buddies ticket says GA4 though. We both bought lower bowl seating. I too am under the impression it starts at 7.
  15. so I just printed our tickets for the show and our lower bowl seating DOES apparently have assigned row and seat numbers on it. Sucks because the other people that I know that are going didn't buy their tickets at the same time as us.
  16. I'll throw it up there eventually, wanted to give locals a shot first.
  17. I'm bringing my hemroid donut and the little sleepy plane pillow in case I need a nap!!! We sprung for table service at Marquee Vegas a few weeks ago when we saw W&W perform because I wanted to make sure I had somewhere to park my old ass!
  18. That's how I understand it, assigned areas but not necessarily assigned seating. I hope it's not assigned seating anyhow.
  19. right...it's odd to me that it starts soo early too. If you watch some of the video's from the large venu's they setup in Europe they do an amazing job. I have a feeling I know how they're going to have the arena setup for this and I worry the audio is going to suck. I'm sure it'll still be a good show. Haven't seen Tiesto live in nearly 10 years so it should be fun.
  20. I'll be there. Hope it's a good show and the sound doesn't suck in such a large venu. **edit** we are in the lower bowl not floor. Floor was sold out when we finally bought them.
  21. My .02 I'm not taking away from anything Mad Hatter does...they do quick, cheap, patches and fixes. I would not want them doing a custom exhaust project for me on something I cared about performance on. That's just not their bread and butter. When the flex pipe fails on the Audi I know for certain I'm driving to the hood to have them do it again. It's pretty much an every 2 year thing. Tinman, Alex, Jason @ IPS would be the first few people that come to mind for what you're looking to have done. They will work with proper materials, mandrel bends and get you something well thought out with great fit and proper engineering. ...but don't bother Tinman for a couple weeks he might be tied up with an exhaust project on a certain yellow car I know.
  22. Yes...a vendor "fixed" the first one that cracked and made a huge mess out of it. It has cracked again. The cracking is happening on the inner barrels. Could be from the lack of sidewall but they are cast wheels that are extremely light (for a cast wheel) on a very heavy car. The cracking is minor but it's concerning. Many others are running these sizes on either heavier cast wheels or forged wheels without issue. The wheels have maybe 8k miles on them but because we drive it so little the wheels are old enough that Forgestar will not work with me on the issue. None of them are cracked bad enough to loose air. The 20's are close to needing new rubber. I thought about trying to run one aspect ratio up to see if it solves the problem. No doubt the stock wheels leave alot to be desired...esp in chrome. Andy
  23. Haha. Out with the old , in with the new
