  1. I do my own wrenching on everything but the biggest projects...oh and oil changes. I refuse to do my own oil changes as I've become tired of cleaning up the mess. Andy
  2. I might have a couple that I could scan but no digital pictures. I"ll see what I can dig up.
  3. Well....we got Bad news on Friday. Previous biopsies had shown that the 2 sites that were cancerous were NOT invasive. When we got the Pathology results back it was actually found that there were 3 cancerous sites and all 3 were actually invasive. What makes this worse is that they were not able to get "clear margins" in the first surgery...meaning they possibly left cancerous cells in her body. At present we're debating having the surgeon go back in and see if there's anything else he feels he can take to see if they can get clear margins in order to continue on the treatment path we had previously chosen (no chemo or radiation). If they cannot get clear margins she'll def. need radiation and most likely chemo as well. We'll know more after more appointments on Monday. I guess this Saga continues. I'll post updates as I know them. Andy
  4. Agreed. It's sad that the company is soo shady and well known for being crooks. They make really great designs.
  5. These are BAD ASS if you ask me. I could see a set of the Concave-Multi's in 20" on the E55 next year. Don't care if they're heavy as bricks they look the business. http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll4/turbokanji/3595283887_41ab40d173_o.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll4/turbokanji/3595036639_f244f3a08a_b.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll4/turbokanji/3595843578_37eb420193_b.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll4/turbokanji/3595036371_4d3b93c50c_b.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll4/turbokanji/3595844212_dd9bea0b9c_b.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll4/turbokanji/3595844692_d7c16b082c_b.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll4/turbokanji/3595035587_bbc1b699d9_b.jpg
  6. I think I've got a car full of in-laws that are going with in order to give my wife some peace and quiet around the house. I can see them not wanting to stay all day so 'pooling is probably out of the question. I can see myself watching the end of the Rolex 3 hour race from home
  7. I just got a cancellation for tomorrow and it's the first sat. I've had off in over 3 months. Figured what better way to spend it than at the races. Anyone else going up to watch tomorrow (sat)? Know of any discounted tickets that can be found locally? Andy
  8. Final Update: We came home from the hospital Wed. around 4:00pm. Yasmin is very happy to be home and resting in comfortable surroundings. Yesterday was much better for her but she's got a long road of recovery ahead of her. Andy
  9. Chris, Glad to see it's all back together and making great power. Andy
  10. IDK...I think it's all a game at this point. I guess we'll see.
  11. alot of Andy's in this thread......Hi Andy.
  12. Thanks for the kind words. I'm gonna pass on the trade though as I hope to never get rid of any of the cars I've currently got. I get too attached to them! Andy
  13. Again you're lucky no wreckless was written. I'd argue the aspect of how fast...but admit guilt on speeding and see if they'll settle for a lesser speeding penalty. Like 84 or something right under 20mph over. I write code that rates insurance quote / policies..we know how far over the limit you were and in some cases it makes a difference. Andy
  14. That'd make a perfect dedicated track car for me. timing is all wrong right now though!
  15. She had issues with pain yesterday to the point where she had to stay a second night for observation. The thought was that the expanders really wouldn't be much of an issue since that pocket under the muscle was already present so they were placed and filled some which is likely most of the source of her pain. After switching up her medication she woke up this morning and is reporting much better pain levels and we should be going home within a few hours. It'll be nice to see my own bed and get a few good hours of sleep myself. Andy
  16. As long as he didn't write you for wreckless on the spot then I'm pretty sure you're safe from them adding it down the road. back in the day I got a 92 in a 65 3 weeks after I got out of court for my wreckless date and I was thankful that all he wrote me for was the speed.
  17. Great job Ryan. Way to bring life back to that hammered paint. Andy
  18. Yasmin was in surgery yesterday from 3:00pm to about 6:30. Woke up around 8:15 last night and is resting and in good spirits this morning. The surgeon's advised that everything went well and as planned. The Sentenal node biopsy was done during her surgery and came back clean so the nodes were spared. She's in more pain than anticipated today, but coping well and ready to go home to see her doggie and lay in her own bed. She may or may not go home later this evening based on her pain level and ability to hold down a solid meal. I'll keep you updated as I've got more news to pass along. Thanks again for all of the support. People reaching out shows what a great community this really is. Andy
  19. All great info in this thread. I'll also agree on the notion that it's NOT too early to clay. You'll likely be suprised how much crap is already in the paint. and a plug for where to get your microfibers http://www.andyschoice.com Andy
  20. ...or 80% if you'v got my crappy PPO. Funny I work for an insurance company and our health insurance sucks!
  21. I believe it was sated that the deal flows 60cfm when the car is turned on. It was also noted that the car passes like 20cfm of air at idle through the intake which is why that was the only time it died with the supercharger sucking air out. I'm not sure theres a direct conversion from cmf to psi though. I'd think there's another variable in there somewhere. I'd say IF you found that variable the rating would be a fraction of 1psi. Andy
  22. Welcome Grant. Not sure how I missed this post but I've seen that car around a few times and it's a really clean combo. Andy
  23. Car looks Hot man. SCREAMING for a drop though! Andy
  24. Rob's posts are spot on. I'd really push you to get a set of dedicated track pads with a car as heavy as yours and with that much HP. I can tell you from personal experience with tracking my M3 for several years (relatively the same HP/ weight as your car) that there's is no pad that does both street and track well. the HP+ pads will not be up to the task. I'd look at Hawk HT-10's. They're cheaper now since they're an older compound that has been replaced by the DTC series but still very capable. They were my go-to pad for the M3. Some say they lack a bit of feel in modulation but that's such a small nit-pick. Your primary concern should be a pad that won't overheat and also fresh fluid that's up to the task as well. On the EBC Yellow's. Maybe Smokey will chime in here but I've driven his E36 with the Yellow's and they were NOT good. We're pretty maticulous about our bedding procedure and they felt great on the street. First time we got heat in them at the track it felt like they glazed over and had no stopping power. No efforst could get this to go away. I've read of similar situations by many users of this pad and would stay away. Andy
