Welcome +rep I had a set of your Twisted Wedge small block heads on my sbc WAY back in the day when they were first released. Andy
  2. YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
  3. Rubber marks will come off fairly easily. Either Meguiars ScratchX or SwirlX should work. It'd easier to with a buffer though. That scratch is not coming out. You can make it look better but it won't go away.
  4. Thanks for the plug Doc! For stuff I don't carry yet (personal life got in the way to business expansion) I'll second Todd's suggestion for George @ Detailed Image. Phil @ detailers domain has always been good to me as well. And when all else fails I turn to AutoGeek. I've never had an issue with their service and their price is always great too BUT I've never had them sit down and have a conversation about detailing like George or Phil are willing to do.
  5. I miss the track...track budget has been allocated to medical bills Maybe in Sept / Oct I"ll be able to squeeze in a couple of late year DE's or Fundays
  6. I like the Cone better. Ball works well but for what I'm mainly using it for (car wheels and exhaust tips) the cone works better.
  7. Flush the fluid and bleed while you're at it. It's cheap and relatively easy to do while you're in there already.
  8. C5 Z06. I really want one...thought about one several times. ....Its just sooooo NOT me.
  9. You were probably more wise at 12 than we were so I wouldn't exactly say "cooler". I hit the bottom of the pool a couple of times off that roof to the point where it could have been painful. Wife and I didn't do many activities. She's was still only 4 weeks out of having her 2nd surgery so we used the time to just relax and enjoy the view and the company of good friends.
  10. 10K right now, 14K in peak season, 16K for holiday weeks (or as I stated above free if you're best friends with the owners son ) + food costs but you only pay ACTUAL cost. For instance, a corona was <$1.00 + activities if you wish to do them + tip for the staff at the end of the week ($100-150 per person).
  11. Small world! You know the Riga's? At one point we were jumping off of the dome over the lower sitting area into the lower pool as it was a bit more "adventure" than just jumping from the upper pool. There may have been a bit of alcohol involved in our decision making at that point.
  12. Actually I did take ALOT of pictures for their website re-design. Least I could do consideing our stay was free for the week since my best friends dad owns the place. Andy
  13. As if that isn't enough the community has it's own private beach and the house staff serves lunch on the beach on Wednesdays http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture274.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture273.jpg The whole Gang that went and a couple of myself and Yasmin http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture517.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture253.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture414.jpg

Sunsets were Amazing: http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture124.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture103.jpg Pictures of the Suite we were in: http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture136.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture145.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture153.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture156.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture158.jpg
  15. After everything Yasmin has been through lately this vacation really hit the spot for her. It was a great way to escape and get away from the world for a week in paradise. The pictures and descriptions cannot do this place justice. It's absolutely breath taking. Property pictures: http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture317.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture017.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture022.jpg We got to stay in the Suite directly across from the pool seen here http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture021.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture040-1.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture329.jpg Property shots at night http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture445.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture177.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture186.jpg
  16. C55 has the N/A version of the 5.5L motor....so nowhere near the same power potential.
  17. Can you show detail shots of the filters...are they in front of the core support or behind it in the engine bay? You put a smaller pulley on the car?
  18. I'm a bit lost on why we're comparing a 4 door car to a two door car? ...I'd still pick the Maserati for several reasons in this case. 1) Ferrari V8 2) I refuse to ever buy a brand new car and take that depreciation hit 3) Maintenance and warranty are overrated if you can do your own work. 4) Ferrari V8 5) Ferrari V8 Andy
  19. The whole thing about the Gahanna officer being on Paid Medical leave since December is pretty upsetting. Since I've had my share of understanding officers in the past the rest is not a huge deal.
  20. You forget that I used to own a nitrous fed, SBC powered machine that also sounded quite nice....no fart cans though.
  21. I hate to admit it but I think that the LS1 in Erik's car sounds pretty darn good going through the fart can on his RX-7.
  22. How on earth did I miss this thread...???
  23. crap...sorry. It's a Rebel XSi, 18-55mm lense, standard books, cords, manuals: $600 shipped.
  24. Just saw this which might interest you. Better body, less accessories, same price http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=717951
  25. The XS came with the standard "kit" 18-55mm lense. Costco was out of stock when I wanted mine so maybe they can't get them anymore but HH Gregg matched the $499 + 20 to ship and sold me the camera same day for $519. threw in a 4 gigs of memory for another $10. The deal for $604 shipped is pretty good with the bag and card and filter. Because I was impatient I had to pay tax so mine only ended up being about $30 cheaper than that and with no bag or filter...and I'm finding the bag REALLY would come in handy.
