  1. Question is pretty straight forward. What's the best / easiest way to maintain a bald head. Specific razors, etc that make the job easier would be appreciated. Andy
  2. 335's fully modified and pushing the limits of reliability are making about the same power that the V10 does completely stock in the M5 (507hp). I'm guessing with the exhaust and some tuning on that particular application it's making somewhere in the 525-530hp range and does it without batting an eye. plus an 8400rpm V10 is just soooo cool.
  3. You ever been in one? My good friend bought one because it was about the only performance car he comfortably fits in @ 6'3" and 295lbs.
  4. OT: Ben...don't know where you went but it's good to have you back.
  5. Her reconstructive process is coming along well, her attitude is top notch, however we found out last week after finally getting the last test back from her Oncologist that she is going to need to go through Chemo. She was always a borderline case for chemo but based on the results of her Oncotype DX test we've decided to pursue Chemo in order to insure that we've thrown everything at the disease possible to treat it now in order to not regret having doubts down the road. It's a bit daunting to think that she'll still have a 1 in 10 chance of a reoccurrence even with the Chemo but we wanted no regrets when it comes to being as agressive as possible up front with the disease. She starts her AC treatments next week. Is pretty well guaranteed to loose her beautiful head of hair within 10 days of the initial treament but will never loose her courage to fight on and keep a positive attitude. Thanks for those of you who continue to reach out and ask about her. She doesn't post here but I assure you she reads quite often and thanks everyone for their support. Andy
  6. Crazy stuff. Glad everyone is safe despite the damage.
  7. Tim...my phone is always on and the PM box is always open if you need a set of ears. You've been great for me with everything my wife is going through and I'd love to be able to do the same for you if it's needed. I'll be thinking of your father and wishing for a speedy recovery and a continued successful fight of the cancer for your mother. Andy
  8. Looks like I'm gonna attend tomorrow morning. Bringing out the M3 and trying to get a couple other BMW guys to join me. Andy
  9. I might bring out my rear-engined distant cousin.
  10. If your wreckless was within the last 5 years then you're being written by their non-standard company which is the main source of why your rates are still soo high. When you're beyond that 5 year point from the date of your Wreckless you qualify to be written in a better company with lower base rates which will be of big help. If you're already past that point I'd shop around. To be perfectly fair...with your history and to minors in the last 36 months you're still on the edge of acceptability for a standard carrier. Hell your credit could push you one way or the other if you're borderline. It's such a complicated matrix evaluation these days that it's difficult to make a call if your close to going one way or the other. Andy
  11. Insurance will evaluate / charge for minor violatins for 3 years...majors only surcharge for the same 3 years but company place in non-standard carriers for 5 years.
  12. Sounds like you needed a different agent. Sadly some of them are in it just for their cut of what they can "sell" and aren't solely out there to cover your needs. If you had a clean record and qualified to be carried by a standard carrier State Farm *should* have been the cheapest given the same coverages and deductables. I'd like to think I know a thing or two on this topic considering I write and maintain the code a certain local company uses to rate auto insurance business. The rates between companies have to be public knowledge and the information is all out there if you look hard enough for it. That's how company X can claim they will quote you what the other companies will charge you for business...because they actually can. Andy
  13. our team is moving (likely back downtown) in the next couple months.
  14. We're getting fucked by issue 1 too. Both my wife and myself "work" in columbus and we pay columbus taxes where we live too. Double Whammy.
  15. +1. I'm older but don't pay that much to fully insure all 4 of my cars.
  16. Just a helmet. They're trusting you to do your own technical inspection on your vehicle to make things are up to snuff. It makes for some interresting scenes every once in awhile but for the most part people are pretty good at making sure their cars are capable of running the entire day. At minimum flush and bleed your brake fluid if it's >2 yrs old and make sure you've got at least 50% brake pad life left. If it's your first time those will be the most important things. Andy
  17. Give us some insight on how many points you still have and when / what the violations were. For clean drivers or nearly clean drivers you won't beat State Farm's prices. They have the lowest cost model of any company in the industry and there's a reason they hold nearly 40% of the market. You do have to elect additional coverage to make sure OEM parts are used in repairs if that makes a difference to you. Most companies are doing this now though so you'd have to do that almost anywhere. However if you don't qualify for their standard company coverage their rates are not as attractive and some of the smaller carriers (Grange, Farmers, etc) may be able to be just as competative. Andy
  18. Tim, Extremely well put. I've been on the loosing side of health care costs this year but universal health care is NOT a solution. Andy
  19. Yeah but the wing is standard and wind tunnel tested to actually server a purpose. Just like the wing on my car even though it looks like a crazy sideways taco. Decals and time attack wheels took poor taste and extra money.
  20. +2 on the Graphics AND I hate the "time attack" wheels. I'd still switch him cars and then fix the issues with it
  21. +1 ...cause I thought the camaro project was canned.
  22. Most would use family as a reason to be done with bikes not cars???
  23. Wow...just WOW. Great cars, great intro, Welcome! Andy
