  1. Despite not being of any help I just wanted to congradulate to you and Anthony. Andy
  2. +1 It's always great when your better half has outstading ideas like this
  3. Is it totally out of the question to say screw the trade and just buy the SRT-4 outright? Keep the Trans-am and have the best of both worlds.
  4. Yeah...she's sick of being cooped up too but it's a necessary evil right now. Even shopping wore her out the other day and that's damn near a miracle. Andy
  5. Sitting at home doing nothing.
  6. Rebel XS is $499 brand new through costco. Yes it's "entry Level" but I'm enjoying mine quite a bit.
  7. Really sorry to hear. Sending my thoughts along for a speedy recovery. Andy
  8. Here's a few I took. http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture921.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture929.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture932.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture937.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture941.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture956.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture957.jpg andy
  9. I've got some glass polish but I've had only marginal success using it. What I've found is they're abrasive enough to remove stubborn water spotting, and really clean windows like they're new...but they do very little for actually correcting scratches from wipers, etc. You will initially see filling that will make the scratching look better but as the fillers wear off the scratches will come back. This was all with a high speed rotary buffer. Andy
  10. You make a very good point. I used to have one of those never ending project vehicles. It was great fun.
  11. Just stirring the pot. You know I love me some 4-ring cars
  12. I think you should start the tread and put it in the Project Management section just so that we can have one thread in there with a project that actually gets finished. p.s. Speaking of tires...I rode in Tom's Z06 on the Pirelli slicks at the Auto-X on sunday. That thing is a hoot and he didn't even get the tires warm enough to stick. Andy
  13. I dig it...both for the throw back value and for the fact that it'll actually rival the M3. It better be close to that 3000lb mark and fun to drive though. I've been less than impressed with the "Fun-to-Drive" aspect of most of the Audi's I've driven lately...even the RS4. Andy
  14. I took a few pictures but haven't loaded them to my computer yet. I'll see if I can get a few of them up here in the next day or so.
  15. Looks like my detail for tomorrow morning just cancelled so I'm planning on making it out in the morning for some coffee! Andy
  16. Leaf blowers work pretty well too....esp for getting water out of little nooks and crannies when it's pretty well dry. ...as a compliment to a microfiber drying towel of course.
  17. Surgery #2 went well yesterday. The surgeon was very happy with the sample of tissue he was able to remove from the area in question from the origional Pathology report. We're holding out hope he was able to get a clear margin on the cancerous cells this time around. He advised that there's no tissue up there left to take and had to put in some cadaver tissue to help the healing process. Yasmin's in additional pain but not nearly the levels of last week. She's resting and in decent spirits. We're all a bit on edge waiting for the next Path report to come back after getting bad news every step along the way. I wanted to thank everyone again. There's been a great show of support from the CR community. Visitors, texts and PM's from those who have met her have really been a great help in keeping her mood up. Andy
  18. Great Thread. Matt's work is top notch.
  19. As always, thanks for the kind words and the opportunity to work on your car Anthony. Andy

I have no clue what you guys are talking about It was about 11pm when I finished up so I wasn't able to get any pictures. Andy
  21. 1) Clay bar to remove any stubborn bug remains. However if they've been on there long enough to be stubborn in the first place don't be suprised if there's etching in the paint that cannot be removed. The PC 7424 and Menzerna polishes might make it better but probably won't make it go completely away 2) If you're dealing with rubber thats in the texture of the plastic Mr. Clean magic erasers work well for getting into those little textures and removing stuff. Actual Scratches to the interior panels are completely different. Look very closely at the plastic to make sure you know what you're up against. 3) Might want to try "Black Wow". It's a pain in the rear to use but a great product. Andy

My pleasure man. It was great meeting you and shooting the shit last night.
  23. PM Smokey. I think it was Bank Of America he used to purchase his FD RX-7. They don't car about the age. as long as the loan amount is reasonable for the price of the car. Interest rate wasn't GREAT...but at the same time it wasn't bad either.
  24. If you look really close at the picture you can see in the Calipers that it's an RS Audi. Likely some concept RS3
  25. She goes back in for more surgery tomorrow morning to see if there's a possibility of getting any more tissue out. Then we figure out chemo and radiation suggestions. Her results for Estrogen receptors were also the highest possible score you can get which means she's going to go through 5 years of hormone therapy. Despite the turn of bad news lately she's holding her head high and ready to fight this with every means possible. Andy
