  1. my saab had it too - i think most cars can turn the TC off, but im not sure about ABS....ive only seen it in that honda i drove isnt that something? have to turn off assists to actually drive properly lol after my saab stalled out i fired it back up, turned off the traction control, and gave it hell...i think i was in 4th gear (out of 6) before i started moving...once i started rolling i made sure to put the clutch in and go back down to 2 lol...didnt wanna hook and break something but my truck i cant turn off my abs...i would love to have a switch for it
  2. not enough ammo in the world to protect you from flounder when he sees this thread, he will pop your head like a water balloon from a mile away
  3. cool. didnt figure it would. hopefully this carlson barrel isnt junk
  4. also - when did ABS become mandatory? i had a 2008 kia spectra rental car that did not have ABS (i drove it through a damn blizzard - so im sure it didnt) i drove a honda civic that had a switch in the glovebox if i remember right, to shut it off (i know you could shut it off - i took a defensive driving course in it...just not positive it was in the glovebox, but i think it was)....wish i could shut it off in my truck, it goes fuckin nutty if you get stuck offroading with ABS.....and i actually stalled my saab once because the abs and traction control was working so hard when i got it partially stuck that the car cut so much fuel delivery due to traction control it actually stalled....that stuff is nice, but there needs to be off buttons for it all
  5. yes - small penis. you can only be a real man if you drive slow, boring shit. sorry bud.
  6. you must have issues with your own dick size if youre so worried about everybody elses
  7. are the stocks the same size on the novas? the overall length of the tactical is 40" according to online specs, my nova is 50"...so it sounds right if i switch from 28 to 18" barrel, it would be the same...but i saw the tac advertised as having a "short stock" but it doesnt make sense when i do the measurements
  8. agreed. civil unrest or some type of natural disaster (perhaps not in ohio - i plan to move to NC in the next few years though, so hurricanes could be a real possibility, like Katrina) not so much worried about terrorist zombie coyote-eating squirrels invading
  9. i agree with this. personally - like i mentioned before, i dont see a reason to buy a big truck and deck it out with mud tires and skid plates etc and then never get it dirty, same for stretching a bike and never hitting the track with it...but i wouldnt get after people for doing so, maybe a joke here and there but nothing more. if its what you like, get it. who cares what other people think? i dont see the correlation between vehicles and penis size, but i guess its because i dont sit around contemplating other dudes junk all day, i couldnt give a shit what somebody drives - especially if its tastefully done its like making fun of scruit for having a sport touring bike or whatever that thing is considered, when he doesnt really travel that far (according to the map in his sig)...ive seen people go 3x as far, on a bike 3x less equipped for such distances...doesnt mean he has any less right to own it, and doesnt mean he should be ragged on for it. he bought what he likes, he enjoys riding it, end of story. (not getting after you brian for your comment on his bike, more so giving an example he will understand)
  10. oh and just for you Scruit - heres what i would be driving if the funds were there
  11. you must not have read my whole post - we use an extended cab as a work truck, and its FULL...if it was single cab, there would be no room left for stuff...we have a truck we use to make a living and work out of, sorry if its not a "real" truck in your eyes because it has a backseat i bet we use that truck more in a week than you use yours in a year (for stuff requiring a truck), it constantly has a 10k lb trailer hooked up to it with a track-hoe on it, a bed full of equipment and tools, and 3 tool boxes all full (not including a filled back seat and center console up front)
  12. the plastic is a "bumper cover" ...theres still a metal bar behind it
  13. believe it when i see it! last time you had a mystery purchase from dale, i saw him post the same gun back up for sale months later (that NFA rifle he was selling on here) link who woodbury'd who now, MT?
  14. are they hiring? maybe i can use an employee discount and get a ksg for $1350 and rub it in your face that i have one before you, and only had to pay twice as much
  15. and last time the truck was for sale i was facing being kicked out and my girl being a month late ....i had a lot on my mind....it worked out though but i never really changed my mind in that thread - it just hasnt been bumped, and i never got the right offer for it looking for a 7.3?
  16. i have a love/hate relationship with my truck lol i have posted it for sale twice, but ive considered selling it MANY times. im used to swapping cars/trucks once or twice a year....so it feels odd to keep one for this long aside from my truck, i went back and looked and i dont think i posted anything else for sale that i didnt end up selling lol (and the nova - but i dont count the first ad since i didnt change my mind, just didnt sell it quick enough) couple bikes, quad, couple guns, gun accessories, etc...ive sold everything ive posted here besides the truck, unless you remember something i dont lol
  17. yea im a gun snob because i got a used HK cheaper than what most people pay for new glocks and xds, and i traded in an 870 for a benelli because the 870 was a non-functioning piece of shit....whatever crazy how butt-hurt you guys get when someone puts down the godly 870....sorry, i like guns that work. mine didnt so i got rid of it. yours works ok? idgaf - that doesnt mean mine did. http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/SaleenSS90/?action=view&current=2011-02-26_18-13-51_98.mp4 gun was 3 months old in this video, with less than 100 rds through it....shot by me, and about 6 other people who experienced the same issues with it. oh, and that is before i returned it to remington to get it fixed. once i got it back from them, it fired 3 times total. first time it jammed like that and came out. second time i had to hit the stock on the ground to get it to come open, and third time that didnt even work...returned it with a spent shell still in it
  18. listing this for my girls grandma. i dont know too much about the thing non-turbo automatic runs good problems: driver window doesnt go down brakes need work (she thinks the booster is out) mileage for sure is iffy title says more miles than on the car or something....somebody made a mistake at the bmv and it went unnoticed or something....upper 100s, for mileage i would guess - she says 200 is whats on the title, and the car has been driven like 10k miles in the past countless amount of years (bought the car awhile ago, and nobody ever drove the thing until 2 years ago when it was driven briefly until the brakes messed up)....im not sure how many miles are on the odometer - but those miles should be the actual miles (i can find out if someone is interested) shes looking to get 1900 obo for it
  19. how is it the most humane? while i agree it will work fine - i dont see how a .22 would be less humane unless youre referring to people saying to drown them while were on the topic of humane killing, if SHTF - would a pellet gun have enough power to penetrate into somebodys brain, via their eye socket? pellets are cheap and could be used for zombie squirrel hunting and shooting your neighbors
  20. you can get a quad cab with an 8ft bed.....how does having more room inside the truck affect its usability? my single cab is fucking cramped using it to work out of... i had to make a small box for behind the seat for some tools that i didnt want out in the elements, let alone having two people in the front seat plus whatever work equipment we have inside the cab i usually work out of an extended cab truck, and we have it filled up completely. front middle of bench has a center console with paperwork for the job site. back seat has our laser, electric drills, etc that cant be exposed to the elements or cost too much to risk exposing them then have a tool box in the bed with our concrete saws and hammer drills two tool boxes mounted on the bed rails for concrete tools and all our other misc tools like tape measures, wrenches, tape, whatever plus a ladder rack we stand all our shovels up against and strap them to, as well as hauling pipe on the top and a ditch ladder. hell even the bed is full (tamper, snake machine, whatever).....if our work truck was a single cab we would be so unorganized and cramped in it, it would be miserable how is being single cab a requirement of being a "real truck"?
