  1. no worries AK's are easy to find - im more interested in the ar i think...never heard of 300blk until today, but after researching it i am really liking it might sell my nova pump to help fund one
  2. i guess from here ill just talk to dale im leaning towards the cmmg ar in 300blk....its double the price of an AK, but the accuracy and size are very appealing i asked dale for info on the ak he has for sale, and for a quote on the cmmg ar...just have to wait for a response
  3. cool thanks - not sure why i was thinking 18.5 and under im really liking the ones in that link - and dale being a dealer might be able to cut me a good price...the ammo doesnt look too expensive either, and i can always pick up a 5.56 upper later on and have both calibers available
  4. i like that too! so many choices out there...ill be buying in about a month i think, so ive got a lot to research lol
  5. ill ask him about the ak he has thanks! also saw he is a dealer for cmmg i like these also http://cmmginc.secure-mall.com/category/300-AAC-BLK-Firearms-199 a 16" ar is considered a SBR right, meaning i need the $200 tax stamp?
  6. i read of people grinding mag wells out and stuff on wasr's...is this different? i dont mind swapping out parts, but i dont want to "modify" any parts
  7. i sent dale a PM asking for some more info on that 300BLK round, and asked him to take a look at this thread when im ready to make a purchase it will be through dale first two are 5.45 and third one is single stack i think...i think im going to look for a double stack if i go for an AK - i dont want to do a conversion or modify it to take standard ak mags
  8. having trouble finding saiga anything under $700-800....got a link? prices went up on them a lot last time i was at buckeye looking
  9. i want something with a more common caliber although that gun looks very nice and very tempting...i will keep it in mind perhaps maybe an S&W MP15 in 300blk....but then im looking at harder to find ammo in a shtf situation, as well as still knowing nothing about ARs lol are replacement parts hard to find for one? i like this one (minus the camo) http://grabagun.com/smith-wesson-m-p15-300blk-16-10rd-rltr-6pos.html ^ only comes in camo though....do you have one to suggest? i like the info on that caliber, worth researching more
  10. something like this looks nice http://www.armslist.com/posts/241387/columbus-ohio-rifles-for-sale-trade--zastava-pap-ak-47-with-nice-extras----like-new- but i think its single stack...what company makes a decent double stack in my price range? something like this better? http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/storeproduct1056.aspx
  11. was looking for a new shtf gun - 800 or under preferably and i dont mind used...was looking at the sig 556r that was posted, but im reading reviews on them and they dont seem too great, and its $1000...probably be better off with a cheaper AK that works lol my main goals are SHTF - occasional coyote blasting - and target shooting 100-200yds i like the accuracy and range of the ar - but i like the punch of the ak ar10 would be ideal, but its out of my budget im leaning towards an AK - what would be a good one? i want a synthetic one if i get one i see a ton of ARs on armslist in my budget - but i know nothing about them, they seem ridiculously complicated
  12. take it off - hammer it back into shape - hit it with a rough sander to eat up some chrome - paint bumper black and grill to match done - nobody will even notice
  13. scruit hit the nail on the head....she was paying 12m for the property, thats how much it was worth in her eyes...now she is clearing it out and building a home on it same as someone buying a condemned house on the west side and tearing it down to build a new one there.....except more expensive lol
  14. youre right - i wasnt even thinking about it, was mixing up AT tires with AS tires...ive been pricing AT tires for my truck like whats on it now and just got mixed up lol my AT tires arent too loud, but my exhaust kinda is so maybe it drowns them out...and ill get about 50k outta this set of cheapo tires so not bad and yea, my truck does great in the snow with ATs, even in 2wd...only time i need 4x4 is when im in deep snow going up a hill or actually off road where im on grass and stuff under the snow
  15. i thought they did something similar with the CHL law changes in october? where people in trouble for unsecured carrying in a vehicle or whatever would get their charges dropped/expunged, etc when the new laws went into place?
  16. this although i disagree on "doesnt matter what you drive"....trucks do fine with AT tires year round...the weight plays a huge role
  17. ^ this if you can afford another set of wheels/tires this is the best option even if you have to buy new summer tires next year anyways, you now have two sets and should get longer life from each, along with optimal traction in all conditions....its really a win/win just deal with the light in the winter and check them manually all season tires are great, but they dont really excel at anything...theyre a blanket tire for those of us too poor to have two sets of rims/tires lol
  18. thanks for the gesture, appreciate it - but ill be ok gas to westerville and home would be more than the $3 to order one from amazon, plus i use that tv once a week for like 20 minutes or so, its not my tv so no big rush...if they want one they can pick one up lol i was just playing with bowdog, since he bought the gun i wanted, twice on here lol
  19. found the amazon link for those http://www.amazon.com/Coffee-Digital-Audio-Ethernet-Connection/dp/B003CSWBYK
  20. swooping in for the kill again one of these days i will get you, you sumbitch
  21. that one works sad though at the lack of education in those soldiers... "photo's" ...really? lol....i see that quite often, people just add the apostrophe to any plural word they feel like
