  1. that, or get a cruiser with some power to keep you entertained....theres plenty of high hp/tq cruisers on the market you could look into
  2. glad youre ok bud and glad those khakis didnt rub through on ya!! post pics or gtfo i almost worked this ride into my schedule today, but it woulda been too tight...glad i didnt go!
  3. The basics are: Bike must have a tethered shut off switch. Rider must wear DOT and Snell 2005 or better full face helmet, jeans, leather gloves, boots and leather jacket. If you go over 120 mph then you must wear full leathers, pants and jacket. Faster than 10.00 requires an NHRA license. and those are the rules to compete. dragway 42 isnt as strict, i doubt you will need the cutoff switch, and if youre faster than 10.00 at a test n tune or something, theyre not going to care about the license....theyre also not going to check if your gear is rated or not, i saw schmelmer run 9s in pleather thrift store pants at dway 42....but in an actual event if you were to enter, you need to have certified gear...you would be surprised what doesnt pass...my icon motorhead leather jacket isnt certified, it says right on the tag that it is not considered "safety equipment"...so thats something else to be conscious of
  4. haha...good going judgedredd, you hit the nail on the head
  5. is this what youre thinking of? http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=15032&highlight=track+rental http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=10119&highlight=track+rental http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=8496&highlight=track+rental thats all i could find with search....probably only saw pics posted of bikes since its OR, probably just didnt take many car pics the bikes and cars cant run heads up, so its always bike vs bike....theres usually a decent turnout of bikes
  6. if you check "Search" all the drag days he posted before, are all copy paste from CRs home page, like what i put up earlier lol...
  7. after using the search feature on this site, it seems like all the drag rentals were combined with columbusracing and buckeyegoats....i could be wrong, but i didnt think OR had their own rental at drag strips
  8. guess i just havent been around long enough, my bad
  9. National Trail Raceway - Hebron, Ohio (about 25 minutes east of Columbus off of US40) Friday, June 18th, 2010 Rain date: Friday, June 25th, 2010 9am-5pm w/ free admission to Friday Night Street Fights at NTR, 6-11pm Gates open at 8am Max of 100 vehicles Price: NTR has increased their pricing for 2010 so CR has increased ours appropriately: $31 for Senior Members $41 for regular members and the public Non-refundable unless the event is canceled. Spectators are FREE! Gates and Entry: Gates will open at 8AM and racing is from 9AM to 5PM. We will be on the east side of the track, in the staging area/parking lot. Use the east gate and follow the road around to the left. If you are not pre-registered you may still pay at the event if there are spots left. The fee is $60 CASH and you must find a CR representative (Brian "V8 BEAST" or Anthony "DarkFormula") to take the money and tech you in. No one else will be doing day-of registrations, you must see one of them. No cash, no race. Tech: Tech is from 8-10AM in the staging lanes, and all registrants will be required to sign a waiver not holding National Trail Raceway or Columbus Racing responsible for liability. We're looking for no leaks, nothing falling off, etc. You must wear long pants and a shirt with sleeves, t-shirts are fine. A Snell/DOT approved helmet is also required if you're running 13.99 or quicker. Cars 11.99 and quicker should have a all NHRA mandated safety equipment, including a roll cage for 11.49 or quicker. All vehicles will be marked after tech for record-keeping and verification reasons. You will not be able to race if you're not teched in; if you deliberately try to race without tech you will be ejected from the track and forfeit your registration money. Trails staff will be watching. Should you arrive after 10am it's your responsibility to track down a CR representative to tech you in. Motorcycles must have a Snell/DOT helmet with full shield, full-sleeve protective jacket, long pants, and over-the-ankle-shoes. If your motorcycle is quicker than 10.00 or faster than 120mph, you WILL need full protective gear, boots and a kill switch. It's suicide not to. Do not try and get around this, if you're busted, we may eject you from the event and you will forfeit your registration money. Racing: We will be utilizing the staging lanes on the north side of the track that exit under the tower. Please be courteous and orderly to other drivers. The north side (left two lanes) of the track are for ALL VEHICLES ALL TIRES, including radials, drag radials, and slicks. The south side (right two lanes) are for SLICK TIRE/DOT SLICK/DRAG RADIAL VEHICLES ONLY, including motorcycles ON SLICKS. Bikes and cars have been asked by NTR to refrain from running heads-up for safety reasons. I.E; cars versus cars and bikes versus bikes only. At this time we're still debating on a need for water box volunteers, although NTR is covering all other staffing positions. If you break and spill fluids or damage the track, you are responsible for the clean-up fees and/or repairs. In the case this occurs, please see Brian aka V8 BEAST ASAP. End of Day: NTR has allowed us the ability to stay for their Friday Night Street Fights event after our event, which starts at 6pm and runs until 11pm. If you've paid for a CR registration, admittance to the NTR event is free. INFORMATION: Email: events {at} columbusracing {dot} com
  10. this...its all the same shit...i just dont fill up at shitty little po-dunk gas stations with only one pump that has cobwebs on it...i dont want that old stale shit...but any main stream gas station will do you just fine...a lot of people like to say BP has water in their gas, they have a horrible rep....but really, i primarily fill up with BP or sunoco because those are the two stations convenient to me (sunoco by my house, bp by my job)...never had bad gas, and my truck has a "Water in Fuel" light, and it has not come on with BP gas
  11. too hot for me...not putting all that gear on lol, didnt feel like sweating bullets tonight
  12. its not like the dude was sitting on the bus staring at you like some obsessed dude...it was just some jackass in a car making an obscene gesture, if people filed police reports every time somebody made an obscene gesture at them, we would need a much larger police force!.... hell, if someone in traffic cuts me off, i flip them the bird, whats the difference? it was nothing but some jackass making a gesture, so put your skirt back down and outta kill mode, and move on with your life instead of wasting the police's time and the tax payers money to pursure something that makes no difference at all....im not saying the people you know should let it go, but theres a difference in being harassed and stalked, and having somebody in traffic make a gesture at you that you didnt like it would not be worth my time to drive around campus looking for that idiot....maybe some dudes would do it, but not me....if i was there when it happened, ide threaten the dude to quit, but im not gonna go fucking search for his ass over something so small and insignificant...its not like this dude jumped outta his car, ran on the bus, copped a feel, licked her on the nose, did a ritualistic pervscream, and jumped back into his car to make a getaway why the hell are women so dramatic
  13. wow....you filed a police report? really? how fuckin petty... get over it.
