  1. Chrome can be taken off of plastic model parts a variety of ways.

But your chrome is a lot thicker. Not sure what would work.

Things that work (sort of) on thin chrome on plastic models:

    Castrol Super Clean

    Fantastic

    Formula 409

    Pinesol

    chlorine bleach

    E-Z Off Oven Cleaner

    dot 3 brake fluid

In most cases, the part is completely immersed or soaked, sealed in a bag, until it works.

i have pinesol...will it not harm the plastic? i also have brake fluid, and ez-off

  2. had some covers on my bike with a fake chrome type decal and it started to crinkle up, so i removed the covers and am going to strip the rest of this decal and spray them black...found out after slicing my fingers open several times, and losing a small chunk of my fingernail, this wasnt as easy as i hoped lol

the decals are a thin metal feeling material...doubt theyre actually metal though... is there something i can soak them in? for the most part its coming off, but theres some small places i cant get to with my fingers...this stuff is sharp if caught at the wrong angle...and the decals are just flaking apart instead of peeling

tired of getting cut up by this fake chrome gayness....soap and water mix? parts cleaner? the covers are plastic, so i need something that wont eat them away, just make the sticker stuff looser

  3. you need slugs for deer , you dont want to use slugs for home defense

slugs come rifled and non rifled

dont want to shoot buckshot thru a rifled barrel, ruins the rifleing

if you dont want to swap barrel get a smooth 20" unchoked barrel and use rifled slugs for deer and 00 buckshot for home

awesome man thanks for explaining and helpin me out..

where would be the best place to shop for this? should i go to vances and tell them what i need?

  4. yep you could use that for both but get the smooth barreled version and use a rifled slug , so your not shooting buckshot down a rifled barrel

do i need different barrels for slugs and buckshot? or should i always be using slugs anyways?

ive never hunted before, my girls dad goes every year so im trying to pick up a gun i can take to go with him, but that i can use for home protection

  5. im looking for a nice shotgun for hunting and home protection....i want something i can take out hunting deer with but thats also going to be good to keep around the house .... i know absolutely nothing about guns, so if anyone would give me advice on where to look for a gun and what kind or anything else i should need to know...that would be great, thanks

  6. saddle bags...no idea what brand or anything...they were on my bike when i got it...little glazed looking on the bottom from hanging close to the pipes, but they were on the bike for 13 years and never melted or anything, so theyre fine...sorry so dusty in the pics, bike had been sitting for over a year at this point

    $20

  7. National Trail? Was he drag racing the thing?

im guessing hes a foreign guy and maybe meant a national park, as in a trail at a national park, most likely had the bike at wayne beating on it, and it locked up because a certain shop worked on it

i wouldnt really buy it to part it out...but if you bought it with plans to build the engine for it and make it run, it may not be a bad deal....never been too much of a fan of bigger dirt bikes though, 250 4stroke is the perfect size bike for offroad
