  1. just bought this bike but it needs more effort and time than i want to put into it... it runs good, fires right up, i just went through the carb, its all clean and has a new float

    the good:

    fires up easy

    runs great

    has no major issues

    .050 over wiseco piston

    muffler was recently repacked

    newer tires

    the bad:

    - front brake isnt very strong, it will grab though...has a brand new cable

    - the kick starter is loose so you have to kick it and then slide the lever under a ziptied loop to keep it from falling down...you can probably put a washer in it to fix it

    - the front wheel is bent slightly...wobbles at speed on dry pavement, new wheel should fix it, or if this one can be fixed, idk

    - plastics are scuffed up and spray painted except tank

    - could use a new chain and sprockets soon, but the slack isnt bad enough that it cant be ridden as is for awhile, its adjusted perfectly, but the adjustment is all the way out

comes with a repair manual, and some oil since its due for a gearbox drain and fill

would be a good project for someone, especially since it runs so good...fires in 3-4 kicks usually

    $400 OBO...may trade for a xbox 360 or complete d0ve heads for a BBF

im not pressed to sell it...if it doesnt sell it will be my winter project

will sell for $350 if its picked up tonight

  2. heres what ive found out so far thanks to someone on columbusracing...

He has an upcoming jury trial in the Knox. Co. Courthouse for domestic violence and violating a protection order. He lives at xxxxx. He has the public defender so maybe he needs some $$ for a lawyer. He owes $300 to the court currently for last year's offense of assault. He's currently out on bond. It sounds like he likes to beat the shit outta his old lady alot. His arraignment is on 9/9.
sounds like hes trying to make some money to pay his court fines from last year before he goes to his arraignment
  3. Insurance said it wasn't title able

the thing barely has scratches on the frame...insurance is crazy sometimes ...

i dont get it...is it a salvage title? or did it come from the factory with no title? if it used to have a title and got wrecked, wouldnt it become salvage title and would just need inspected before it got a rebuilt and hit the road again...i would file with the state for a title with the bill of sale and they will probably send you a salvage title for it

  4. kinda overkill for a guy tryin' to make a buck changin' a tire, no?

now, mailing an empty shell to his address with a note saying, "I know your game, I know where you live." may be a bit more effective.

i dont even have any proof thats what he was doing...i wouldnt even go as far as to mailing him anything...but if i find somebody else who has ran into this particular guy, i want to pursue it because the wheel/tire isnt cheap...good news is mike at wheelmedic is going to take care of the wheel for me, so ill just be out for repairs and a new tire...the guy could have just been helping out, i dont know...i think it was set up, but without proof or without somebody else having an issue with this guy, i wouldnt take any actions on it....he is very memorable, if anyone has seen him they will remember him

  5. That's just down right creepy. Did you say anything to the cop about your "hero's" actions?

no because at the time i was not thinking about it....yesterday was top 5 of the worst days i can remember....not one thing went right from when i woke up until i went to bed...i didnt think anything of it, was too stressed out about being late to my interview....this morning after work i was driving home and got to thinking about it and realized how setup it seems...i wish i woulda thought more about it when the cop was there with me...i was starting to feel uneasy, but not enough to warrant me saying something to the cop...i didnt even think that it coulda been setup until today...didnt even know i had a nail in the tire until last night when i got home and looked at it...i just thought i was having bad luck and it blew out because it was defective or something
