  1. That reminds me of the Ecomobile. One year they had a few of them at Mid-Ohio. They actually looked pretty interesting. The big drawback was that they cost a small fortune.
  2. I got a laptop backpack after 5 years. I guess they wanted it to be easier for me to take work home. :-p
  3. I bought this 3XL Joe Rocket Meteor 4 two summers ago. I found out that my belly is 3XL, but my arms are only 2XL. The sleeves are too long for me. The elbow pads are at my wrists. I only wore it twice, so it has a couple bug spots, but other than that it is like brand new. I have seen the 3X's go for over $100 on eBay (I paid $125), but I am gonna give everybody here at shot at it for $75 before I list it. I am west of Dayton. Let me know if you are interested. This would be the perfect gift for that under dressed, "husky", friend of yours that needs a cool to cold weather jacket. Jacket features: 100% waterproof Rock Tex 600 outer shell Rock Tex 1050 overlay on shoulders, elbows and forearms Removable dual density body armor for shoulders and elbows and spine Patented Air Foil zipper controlled ventilation system Removable insulated full sleeve liner "Sure Fit" adjustable waist 8" sipper for pant attachment Reflective stripe

    Just sent you a PM.
  5. I only got one cutting out of mine this year. I got $4 a bale back in June. Its only going to go up until next spring.
  6. Obama kept using his time to complain about Romney not giving details, instead of giving details of his own.
  7. Dude got what he deserved! I bet he isn't pulling any of that I am not a citizen or I'm not a person crap with his public appointed defender. :-)
  8. I got lucky enough to work a beer cart at the Super Bowl this year. They had a team of snipers spread out around the rafters of Lucas Oil Stadium. Somebody told me they also have them up there for college football games. I just couldn't imagine that if something went down, that you would be able to get any kind of shot off on anyone. It seems like there would be chaos and it would be impossible to pick out a shooter and get a shot off. But, they are the pros for a reason.
  9. I recently went to Tampa. I tried all of the major car rentals, and couldn't find a good deal. I stumbled onto HotWire and tried it. They saved me about $50 on the week. The only trick is that they don't tell you who you will be renting from until you pay for the reservation. Hope this helps.
  10. I've got a 69 Bronco that I have been working on. I am really considering the 4bt swap. The only drawback is that no one is giving those 4bt's away. They cost a small fortune!
  11. I have been thinking about joining the Acient Order of Hibernians for a while, but I just never got around to it. I got some info from them on St Patrick's Day, but I thought I would check to see if anyone here is or has been a Hibernian before I sign up. I am not sure what to expect. I have Irish ancestory, I'm Catholic, and I love Guinness, so I should fit in right?
  12. I ordered an SAE set (4.99 shipping). The Metric set shows sold out on the shipping option.
  13. Hey everybody, I finally got the approval to hire an IT Co-Op. We had a potential candidate that asked if we could expand it to be an ongoing part-time position. I was able to get that change approved, just in time for him to tell me that the drive was too much. So, now I have a part-time (about 25 hrs a week) Help desk position open. Here is the job link: https://home.eease.adp.com/recruit2/?id=987871&t=1 It still says Co-Op but it includes part-time candidates as well. We are a manufacturing facility in Eaton, Ohio. We have a small 3 person IT department that supports about 250 users and a variety of manufacturing equipment. We all have to wear many hats. I am looking for someone that is experienced with supporting PC hardware, Windows, Office, email and etc. Database and programming skills are a plus. If you are interested, go to the website and fill out the online form. Then send me a PM. Thanks, James
  14. For what it is worth, I think "he" is a she. The lop under her neck is an indicator that she is a she. I believe only females have those. Good luck finding her a home.
  15. Funny, but really choppy on my computer too.
  16. That looks like it was a great trip!!! I'm jealous.

    Roadkill

I hit some squishy roadkill on my GPZ once. I think it had been a possum. No matter how much I washed my headers, for the rest of the summer my bike smelled liked cooked roadkill. It was a nasty funk. ;-)
  18. I knew a guy that carried a handfull of half inch diameter bolts in his jacket pockets. If anyone messed with him, he would pull in front of them and toss up a couple bolts. Not sure if that is a good idea though.
  19. I think I would have stopped much quicker than he did! You should see me freak out when I get a bee in my jacket! 280 Kilometers per hour is 173 mph. He was burning off some adreniline.
  20. I use it and love it. I have only run into a couple small compatibiliy issues with Office. I tell anyone that buys a new PC for home, to use Open Office. It is free and not bloated like Office.
  21. Sorry for taking so long to report back on our trip. We took 50 from Chilicothe all the way over to Clarksburg, then 79 South to 33. From there we went East to Elkins and then 219 south to Mingo. We stayed at the Brazenhead Inn. The rooms are small, but they are clean, and the owners are very nice. The second day we went to Cass and took the train ride. My dad really enjoyed it. We spent a couple hours there. We talked to one of the guys working there that told us that WV sweeps the corners on the roads a couple times a year. He warned us that when the sign says a curve is 25mph, they mean it. He is right. We picked up a flyer put out by West Virginia that had some nice routes listed for the area. We took one that ran us down to 39, and then across to 219. 39 was really nice. Almost anything that runs east and west will be fun. The last day we took 15 west out of Valley Head and over to Webster Springs (nice town). Then we hit 20 south to Cowen and 82 North to 19. This whole leg 15 to 20 to 82 was a blast! It was up and down, and turn turn turn on good roads. From 19, we hit 79 to Charleston and then 35 north back to Chilicothe. It was a great, way too short trip. The views were beautiful, the people were really nice, and the roads were lots of fun. We did find out that it is hard to find dinner around Cass. Not much down there. And after 5:PM, the deer come out in droves. The worst part was that they aren't afraid of people, cars, or motorcycles. We will definitely do the ride again, but we will spend more time there next time.
  22. My dad and I are heading out to Cass, WV on Sunday. We are leaving from Dayton. It looks like it is going to be a FULL day of riding to get there. We are planning three days, hopefully that will be enough. We plan to take one of the train rides on Monday, and then do some riding in the area. Then we will head back on Tuesday. Has anyone been there before? Are there any must see's or must do's?
  23. That looks suspiciouly like a bottle of White-Out!
