I say they both should get a ticket. Really, they both entered the intersection without waiting until they could safely clear the intersection completely. BUT just because someone breaks a traffic law, doesn't mean you can do anything you want and not be held liable for the outcome. I'm sure some attorneys will have fun with it, or the insurance companies will just settle with some sort of no-fault agreement. Both of them should be forced to sit through a couple weekends of traffic school. lol

I was talking to someone I know at Time Warner (I hate TW), and they told me about another impact of this, tht I hadn't thought about. You know how you pay your phone bill and there is all of those FCC fees and taxes? Well, you never had that on your internet service...until now.

I don't buy in completely to all of the "climate change" science. There's a statistic for every argument. They'll say that the average temperature has risen about two degrees in the last 100 years. But 100 years ago, people in the U.S. were still using outhouses; so how accurate could the temperature logs from 100 years ago, have been? I took some anthropology classes in the late 1980's and at that time the general consensus was that there is and ice age on the way. There was all kinds of science that supposedly showed that the earth was cooling and that the sun was slowly running out of gas. I even remember them saying that the musk ox in Sweden, that require cold temperatures, were migrating south lower than they have been since the last ice age. This supposedly was proof that the earth was cooling. But, that being said, if you want to see how quickly and significantly humans can in fact change the climate, look up the dust bowl of the 1930's. I think that shows that we unfortunately can impact the climate.

I have contemplated that very thing many times. We definitely become a slave to our possessions. I work my butt off, work way too many hours, and never really get mentally free from work. Most of the time, I resign my self to the acceptance, that I am just a mule. I will work my butt of until I die, so that my wife and my daughter can do the things they want, and hopefully live a nice life.

Could it be a coincidence that on September 23rd, a federal court order that the DOJ turn over Fast and Furious documents and on Sept 25th, the Attorney General resigns? I am sure this has been in the works for some time, but the timing is curious.

I get MavTV on Time Warner. Its a pretty good channel. Lots of racing and other motorsports. They even have truck and tractor pull shows. I love the European off road racing series. I think they are running Australian Superbike races too.

I was out from 1:00 to 2:30 and only saw one. I gave up and went to bed. Did anyone see anything worth while?

So I don't know anything about television deals or rights or whatever, but as I sit here watching the first round of the Australian Superbike series, I have to wonder why is it that I am going to be able to watch 6 rounds (2 races in each round) of Australian Superbike and Supersport races on American TV, but I can't find a televised AMA road race with a frickin search warrant?!!? Its on MavTV on Time Warner. They have a lot of racing and outdoor motorsports. It looks like the channel is owned by Lucas Oil. So, why can't DMG get their races televised? Maybe if we could get Danica Patrick a Superbike contract, we might have some hope of saving pro road racing in the US.

The real question here is why in the world would Bike Bandit publish a blog post that might alienate any of their customers? I am guessing their might be a position open soon at Bike Bandit.

I agree. The officer lost control when he lost his focus and started to talk to the bystanders. But, no matter what lead up to the final event, if the drunk guy would not have resisted arrest, it would have all ended without incident. Unfortunately, he decided not only to resist, but then he began assualting the officer. I think, regardless of the circumstance, when you have an officer on the ground hitting him in the face, you are likely to get shot. What a shame.

I am a memeber and most likely will continue to be, but I have to admit, I haven't liked much that the AMA (or Dingman) has done in the last 5 years. I mean AMA racing is a joke now. With more people riding, and more people interested in motor sports, the AMA has actually found ways to drive fans away. I am a 24 year member. A couple years ago, I thought about becoming a life member. I thought it used to be about $350. I looked it up, and found that it is now $1500, and you have to keep paying $29 a year to get the magazine and roadside assistance. So, getting the life membership only saves me $20 a year. That means that it will take me 75 years to break even! Does the AMA have a term limit on the CEO position?
