  1. We went last year. Took 35 through Ohio down to 64 in WV. From there, we jumped over to Route 60 and followed it all along the river. We spent the night in Glenn Ferris at the Glenn Ferris Inn. If you stay there, make sure you look up at the third floor window. There is a creepy civil war manequin in the window. The next morning, we followed 60 and stopped at Hawk's Nest. There are some great views from there. Then 60 on over to 19 south to the bridge. Make sure you take the old road down to the bottom. We met some guys that told us 39/55 through the Monogahela National Forrest, is a great ride. We wanted to do it, but we ran out of time and good weather. On 60, you will see some really interesting river towns. It was a fun trip.
  2. James, this is what we did. We bouthg a couple FRS radios. Then got a MotoComm Headset package. It velcoris into your helpmet, and has a wired pushbuttong that you can strap to one of your bars. It works great! Here is a sample of the one I got: https://www.motocomm.com/products.php?ItemID=3233&ProductCatID=171 MotoComm know seels the whole kit with radios: https://www.motocomm.com/products.php?ProductCatID=164&ItemID=3218 I keep the radio in a jacket pocket. I love it. You just have to get used to not jumping off of your bike without disconnecting from the switch on your handlbars.
  3. Saw this, and I couldn't resit posting it. http://dayton.craigslist.org/cto/1621133303.html
  4. I've got an 01, and what has been said so far is true. 21 Mpg, bad intake gasket, fuel pump and whel bearings. One other oddity is that the rear diff vent tube. It is run up under the bed. Since the crew cabs have a short bed, the vent ends up hanging in the open between the cab and the bed. Over time, some of them suck water in the vent. I had to put a pinion seal in mine, and discovered about a half an inch of water in the bottom of the diff. I was racking my brain trying to figure out how the water got there, until I finally found a reference to the vent tube.
  5. It reminds me of these: http://eco.peraves.ch/ndexe.htm I saw them at Mid-Ohio a few years ago. They looked a little bulky, but not a terrible idea. The cost on the other hand... I think they were about $70k US!
  6. BikeBandit.com http://www.bikebandit.com/1976-suzuki-motorcycle-gt250a/o/m6246 I restored a 74 TS75, and used BikeBandit a lot. Their schematics are really helpful.
  7. Now if Harley would just get their hands out of it, and let Erik or someone else buy the rest of Buell business.
  8. Brian, my thoughts and prayers are with you. You are not alone. Remember that you have a good support group here that is here to help. If you feel comfortable with it, let us know where you are.

Maybe just a little too much CGI. And one big frickin ray of sunshine.
  10. Get Bluetooth for the range. It is the only way to go, but it costs mo money for anything more than 10'. I use Logitech MX5500 in our conference rooms, and they work great. The software that is installed is a little clunky, but it does the trick.
