  1. In all seriousness, you guys need to call the organizers and make sure they know what happened. Saying you refuse to grid up if that guy is allowed to race would probably get him banned.

  6. In a motorcycle application, there really aren't any practical limits for the amount of power that an electric motor can produce. The limitations are related to the weight of the batteries and the range they can deliver. You could make a 500 hp electric bike, but it's range may only be suitible for drag racing.
  7. Does it really even matter? I bought it after the deal for the Moto Guzzi Norge fell apart. Think of it as getting loaded after bad day of work
  8. ***SOLD*** Long story short...I've never ridden and SV650S. I bought one for a second bike. It runs great & it handles well, but it doesn't fit me as well as the CBR so I am not going to keep it. IMO, this is the best and hardest to find version of the SV650. It's blue with the white stripe down the middle. It comes with the lower fairing stock, and it has ABS. The Good Never wrecked or dropped. About 5200 miles. Tires are better than 60%. Cosmetically it's a 9. It has a few nicks from being in the garage, it's in very nice condition overall. Mechanically A1 Delkevic Carbon Shorty pipe - sounds like a proper twin - medium loudness. LED flush mount turn signals front Integrated LED tail/turn signals Fender eliminator Previous owner modified the stock seat with a gel insert. It's comfortable, but kind of ugly. If I were to keep it, I'd get another seat off ebay. I'll post pics. $4,950. Might consider a trade for an interesting naked bike or sport tourer. I'll post actual pics in a few days.
  9. The more I look at this motorcycle, there is absolutely no way HD engineering could have pulled this off. I have $50 bucks that says this was designed by Buell and going to be a Buell motorcycle before HR shuttered them. It was known that Buell had a electric model underway. The sidestand and footpegs are straight off the 1125R. The forks, swingarm, rear shock, geometry, & wheelbase all very Buell looking designs.
  10. The thing I like most is that it has a kick starter. The thing I like least is that it has a Dunlop Qualifier.
  11. It's the most interesting and probably most capable HD since...well ever. This from the company that was forced to go to FI by EPA regulations.
  12. Weather permitting I'll be doing a long SEO ride Sunday. Can't Saturday.
  13. I like the low triple tree mounted mirrors.
  14. To me it kinda looks like someone crashed an RX and then installed aftermarket street fighter parts. Styling has never been a Buell strength, but it might need to be to pull sales from Ducati, Aprilia, BMW, etc in this price range.
  15. It should come standard with rear facing speakers and exhaust sounds stored within the ECM.
  16. http://money.cnn.com/2014/06/19/news/companies/harley-electric/index.html?iid=HP_LN The suspension and swingarm look like some of the Buell designs.
  17. EBR purchased the rights to the engine from Rotax. Rotax is no longer involved in any way. So technically it's an in house EBR engine.
  18. You have to say yeeee hawww to make it work.
  19. This. Mine stay locked up unless they're actively being carried or cleaned.
  20. ^^^ or better yet, make the locals remove them entirely.
