    Hey Tpoppa

There is still a loose collection of the old core members of CORE. I have very fond memories of CORE rides. It was basically my weekend riding school for 10 years. First core ride was on a 1993 Suzuki Bandit 400. Man that was a fun bike.
  2. If I bought you dinner I might expect things
  3. How do I join the Sushi club, other than buying you blokes dinner, cause I'm not doing that.
  4. Never been there, but Mizu is very good. It's a small place and it's always busy. Prices are reasonable, too.
  5. Jim, call a big firm first. Misny or Elk and Elk. If they won't take the case they'll give you a good referral.
  6. IMO, best sushi in the Cleveland area http://www.mizusushiparma.com/
  7. I brushed a deer with my leg once. It got my blood pumping. I used to mount deer whistles on my bikes to try to get their attention.
  8. Never started 86 GSXR750R https://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/mcy/d/new-rare-suzuki-gsxr750r/6659088348.html
  9. Thompson Compass can be found used around $250.
  10. Is that actually a good thing in a home defense situation?
  11. I've never buy extra mags. But I do tend to buy used firearms that come with extras.
  12. What are the laws around making your own gun? Don't all firearms require a manufacturing serial number? Wouldn't that make printing a 3D gun illegal, and the plans a criminal tool? I know I wouldn't want to fire one...I'd be worried about it blowing up in my hand.
  13. I've never seen an ADV bike with ape hangers.
  14. HD dealers had no idea what to make of the Buell Ulysses. It was more of a ST than an ADV, and actually a pretty good bike.
  15. Buell existed for 25 years. HD dealers marketed the 130hp, 400lb Buell 1125R as a beginner bike, so some day you could step up to the 65hp, 800lb geezer glide.
  16. Remember when HD dumped Buell so they could focus on their core business of chrome couches? Or when HD bought MV Agusta, sunk a bunch of money into their infrastructure, then sold the brand at a huge loss? Buell insiders claimed they had a dirt capable bike that was just starting production at the time when Buell was shuttered. Anyone remember the Buell Barracuda that was killed off? https://rideapart.com/articles/buell-barracuda-2-what-could-have-been What are the chances that these HD bikes are going to be any better than MVs or the Buells concepts? They'll almost certainly be heavier and slower. ....and HD dealers have no ideal how to sell anything other than cruisers. They only stock HD brander gear. And only stock OEM tires. Not a recipe for success in the ADV or sporty markets. Harley seems a bit confused on their strategy.
  17. It's supposed to be an all new liquid cooled 975cc mill. They mentioned competing with the Ducati Monster and BMW S1000R. I have my doubts. If they stuck with their design by committee philosophy where the styling dept makes the final decisions, then I expect it to be poorly executed, under powered, & overweight. Who knows, maybe they learned something from that joke of a Street Rod. I like the Indian Flat Tracker concept better...

  19. The first 500 miles is practice for the next 500.
  20. I might take you up on that. As of now looks like I'll be off work 8/18-22.
