I have to ask Casper why he automatically believes every such bullshit story that is on the internet. Casper, do you spend hours in line at the grocery reading the tabloids? You do realize that every story you post is equivalent to the batboy story in the tabloids as your links never include any substantiation of the claim, just a thin veneer of bullshit. Why do all of your links not pass the smell/idiot test? That means that the story smells so bad that even an idiot knows not to latch onto it.

Let's see: Been to ground zero: YES have you? Wore a flag pin: YES and continues to do so. Your assumptions: WRONG!! Damn this is ridiculous.
-
Seriously? There is nothing that can be said.....

Quoted for truth... I especially like that bit about the chamber of commerce being 'totally about what's good for the people.'
-
Are you fucking serious? I can't even respond at a level you might understand. Toyota and Honda both have recently expanded production in Canada directly because of the cost savings they get due to universal health care. That is the 'true story' you have obviously missed. Corporate taxes may be lower but any savings there are completely dwarfed by the healthcare savings. That is a fact. True story...

Evidently I was wrong about the existence of a muslim pride parade. I live in NYC for 4 years (95th and 3rd) and never saw a muslim pride parade even though I lived directly across the street from the largest mosque in NYC. That said, Ohiomike mentions muslims continually blocking a street for prayer. I say that this is inflammatory and offensive and WRONG. It appears as though muslims did block the street for prayer but only during a once a year parade. In my mind that does not constitute 'continual' blocking of the street. I think that ohiomike has characterized a once a year activity as 'continual' and that the characterization is absolutely false. That was my original premise and though I was incorrect in my assertion about the muslim pride parade, I was ultlimately correct in that the average New Yorker does not recognize the muslim pride parade as an impediment to their daily lives. In addition, the supposed 'continual' disruption of traffic due to muslims prayer appears to be a complete fabrication at this point.

You don't sound like a dick. I lived in Manhatten for 4 years right across the street from the largest mosque in NYC. I lived on 95th and 3rd and never saw this muslim pride parade. I can tell you that i did not experience any delays due to the muslim pride parade but did see many delays due to the puerto rican day parade. I am stunned that the muslims pride parade has even existed as I never saw anything about it during the time I lived in NYC.

Mike, I lived in NYC for 4 years and never witnessed this 'muslim pride' parade. I am assuming you have a link to some evidence of this? Also, I would appreciate a link to the 'continually block streets in NYC for their morning prayer' item. I lived across the street from the largest mosque in NYC for awhile and just wondered where you got your info as it is certainly WRONG and inflammatory. Thanks!!

Kyle, Ron is already on the short bus. No need to "get him in"

Hey Brigham, what was the last sport bike you owned. The one before all those back surgeries?? Anyway, nice to know that you laugh at an "expensive helmet!!" When did "expensive helmet" become a slam? The chrome harley brain buckets are real expensive for what you get compared to a Shoei or Nolan etc... How much is your brain worth... Obviously not much..

I tired to send you a couple PMs but it isn't showing up in my sent folder. I will take the fender eliminator. I am out of town this weekend so I won't be able to pick it up until next week but I can send you paypal tonight. If you still have the seat next week I can look at it then. Let me know

Finally got the bike. Loving it. Way more comfort than the RR and still lots of fun for the street.

new leftover 2007 VFR800 Anniversary (RWB) to be picked up on Wednesday or Thursday. Waiting to hear from the dealer. See my ad for a great deal on a 2004 CBR600RR> Buy before I have to trade it in... I can also recommend that nobody deal with the sales manager Matt Harbaugh at Hinderer powersports. I will post more details once I get the bike. In the interim, everyone should remember that this guy is a total dickhead. The finance and sales guy understand what I am saying. Full details available once I get the bike in my grubby little hands...

I think I will have to trade it in but I didn't anticipate finding a 2007 rwb viffer so soon. Last ditch effort to not give the dealer extra money.
-
Sorry. Buying a viffer and can only handle 1 bike right now. Have a road race car already and just had twins in January. Thanks anyway!

Any recommendation on a dealer? It appears as though Honda East only has the 2009 model but I think I really want a 2007 RWB. Hinderer says that they can get me one. Is it possible that a dealer can get one from Honda still in the crate? Will keep calling around and see what I can find.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Looks like I got confirmation on all that I had heard. Off to look for a 2007 RWB.

I currently have a 2004 CBR 600RR and am considering a 2007 to 2009 VFR. I haven't ridden the viffer but have heard good things and the current deals look pretty good. I would love to find an 07 in the red white and blue paint. The reason for the change would be for more comfort on some longer rides that I would like to take. I love the handling of the 600 and don't want to give up too much but would appreciate the additional comfort. Before anybody asks I cannot keep both or that is exactly what I would do. Anybody have some feedback on the handling comparison of these two bikes? My current bike.. before I took a couple of stickers off...

Don't have enough posts to place a wtb ad at 600rr.net unfortunately. Guess I will have to create some lame posts to get the number up.
