Not a terrible asking price considering the salvage title and mileage discrepancy? Kelley Blue Book puts it at $6,070 retail. If you figure that on the priciest side it's 40% of the retail value you're at $3,600.

That's just it! I even said we could find an 05 R6 for the same price or less and get him in under his price goal. But he's locked onto the new gen and wants nothing else. I even found an 08 R6 in yellow with 3k miles for $5k flat. Nope.

Now that I'm looking at it, it seems those Yamahahahahas are known for spinning rod bearings. He's already told me he's dead set on that bike though so oh well. Don't come crawling to me when something bad goes wrong.

Yeah, F-bodies have EGR on the early models. Everything else after 2001 I believe has no EGR. So if there's no oil, and there's no exhaust gases, then you have a happy intake. : )

My motor doesn't put around long enough to build up lots of carbo and cause issues. It works it's ass off every time it get started. Sees redline once a drive. I've also got a catch can on the evap system. Last time I lifted the intake, clean as a whistle. I'm sure my bearings love me though. Can't wait until I get the day to tear it apart and see what damages I've caused. Lol I try to stay kind to my trusty LSx though. Mobil 1 full synthetic every 3,000 miles with a good filter, plugs every 20k, coolant every 50k, etc.

Glad I don't have to worry about carbon. Lulz

And wouldn't the title show a transfer to the auction company? The title goes: Private owner>Progressive Insurance>Racer's Edge 411 Usually auctioneers have to have the title to sell the bike right? So it would show a transfer to the auction company before racers edge got it.

That's my point man. There's something underlying here besides a dent in the tank and scratches on the fairings.
