    Thanks to all that made it for not laughing at my inexperience too much. This experience boosted my confidence in handling the weapon a HUGE amount.

    Thanks to the Midget for letting me borrow his holster, as well. None of the 3 I had with me worked out very well.

    You own or borrowed three holsters? I know you have the one that came with your XD, what others do you have?

    i did notice the xd having some problems though!...and the glock, but only because kawi was thumb-fucking it.

    my HK ran like a top - too bad the operator is such a horrible shot with it haha

    Kawi isn't used to a fullsize man's gun. He likes his little pea shooter. ;)

    I shouldn't have gotten fancy and went to my off hand lol

    Oh and Blackhawk doesnt make a holster yet for the 9/40/357 M&P compact.......WTF!!!!:cry: But this Comp-Tac looks to be a very nice alternative.

    Yes they do. The one marketed for .45 works just fine, and there isn't any difference between a full size and compact concerning holsters.But they do have them specifically for .40s. I have a Blackhawk Serpa CQC

    There should not be just one "day" for veterans. Instead of today taking the time to thank a vet, if you see a vet on ANY day, thank them. No offense to breast awareness and black history, but they get months where there is remembrance and recognition. Vets should AT MINIMUM, have a Veteran's Month.

    Thank you on on this recognized day that serve us and allow us to do what we do and have the freedoms we have here in the US. As a racer, father and one that enjoys what he is allowed to do, it wouldn't be possible w/o the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform.

    I thank you all. But, you deserve more than a freakin day...

    Not where I thought this thread was going...lol.
