  1. "The product is only introduced when pork prices are low enough to ensure McDonald's can turn a profit on the product," Staley suggests
    McDonald's relationship with the pork industry goes back to the McRib's conception. In 1972, Roger Mandingo, a University of Nebraska professor, received a grant from the National Pork Producer's council to develop a technology that bound small "umarketable parts of the animal" into a formation that looked more appetizing. In other words, he figured out how to mold tripe, heart or stomach bits into something that looked like a choice cut of meat. Let's say, the ribs.

  2. couple more questions. if i were to buy a gun, in order to transport it, the ammo has to be in a separate compartment, right? like gun in trunk, box in seat.

    No, there is no law that says that, it's an urban myth. The only law is if you don't have your CHL, yes CHL not CCW, then the gun cannot be loaded. That means no rounds in the firearm, magazines even if they aren't in the gun, or speed loaders.

    CHL= Concealed Handgun License

    CCW= Concealed Carry Weapon

  3. One side was right but the voters were schizophrenic. We had seventeen issues in our county for tax increases to help pay for public workers and services, thirteen failed. Yet they voted to continue to allow the cost of the workers to remain the same. I guess they are going to get paid with magic fairy dust. Something has to give, if the people don't want to vote in tax increases for themselves then people and services will have to be cut if costs remain under the current structure. Unintended consequences are a bitch.

    This is it in a nutshell.

    I also hope people who voted for this don't bitch when they get laid off for the simple fact they don't have seniority.
