  1. When I was in 6th grade (41 yo now) my friend and I rode our bikes to campus from Worthington. We were having lunch in the 2 story McDs on campus when I thought I could throw a pickle in one of the hanging plants from the 2nd story. Well, I missed and it fell on some guys table below. He came up and asked who threw it. My friend ratted me out and the dude punched me in the face.

I cried like a bish, (well, a 11 year old one). I have to throw this out there, too. There were 2 CPDs sitting 10 ft from us and they did nothing. They probably thought I deserved it and had a good chuckle.

My point is how times have changed. First, I would NEVER let my 6th grader ride a bike to campus and second, shit like this has always happened, and still happens all time. You just always get to hear about it now because of our over-saturated media world.

    Truth.

lol, it's funny that I never used the phrase "I appreciate it" until I went it. What is it about that phrase??

And your second picture is dead on correct.

Her foot is healing up. She is getting her Airborne physical, AGAIN, tomorrow. Group wants to send her back ASAP.

She'll do fine, don't worry too much Dad. :D Charlie mike.

  3. It's illegal to kill someone but we still have murders. Why would a law requiring background checks for all gun purchases keep them out of the hands of people who aren't going to follow the law anyways? They will buy them off the black market and skip the areas where they will be checked out. This just adds more red tape for everyone else and not to mention the gov't having their finger in one more area of our lives.

I didn't go past the homepage either.

  4. All officers of the seven Uniformed services of the United States take swear or affirm an oath of office upon commissioning. It differs slightly from that of the oath of enlistment that enlisted members recite when they enter the service. It is required by statute, the oath being prescribed by Section 3331, Title 5, United States Code.[1] It is traditional for officers to recite the oath upon promotion but as long as the officer's service is continuous this is not actually required.[2] One notable difference between the officer and enlisted oaths is that the oath taken by officers does not include any provision to obey orders; while enlisted personnel are bound by the Uniform Code of Military Justice to obey lawful orders, officers in the service of the United States are bound by this oath to disobey any order that violates the Constitution of the United States.[3]
