Hmm, I'll have to watch this thread. I have an Ipod classic, like gen 2 I think and my battery lasts under an hour I think. I haven't used it in forever. I had a battery backup on it. Stuck to the back and used 4 AA batteries.
I don't even know where it's at right now.

some tips:
when you take your class, they'll probably have a dual sport... use it. it is so awesome (well, compared to the other bikes)
when you do the quick stop, make sure you have maintenance throttle til you cross the line... then use both front and rear brakes. they like to see the rear lock up a little... at least that's what I was told. again, fun on the dual sport lol
make sure you show up early.
good luck!
This! I rode their little DR200, it was a blast! When jporter and I took it, we had already been riding for a while and I already had my endorsement, so we got a little bit of leeway. It was a lot of fun on that bike. I was doing stoppies and the instructor was just laughing at me. Even dragged the pegs a couple of times.

Anyone interested in buying a kat you know its a scam.
lol

Reminds me of the backwashed beers in Britain (I think) that people pay to drink. Yuck!

It was a very clever play on words and you ruined it.

Kind of a tradition, Lot of us shot our coins at Sniper School. When we got a good lot lot of ammo our rifle liked, we paced them out with a taped "X" on a KD target and sent the shot. Me and a guy fron 1st Rangers shot ours at 200 Meters in Army Sniper Class 193... Mine is still in my pocket every day. Our class got a Sniper School Coin if we tagged ours.
One Shot, One Kill
lol. Never heard of that. Can't say I have ever thought about shooting one of my coins. They are all on a display rack at home.

Many years ago at Sniper School I shot at my division coin...
Since then, golf balls at 200 yards, clay birds at 400 yard and what ever I"m given a green light on.
Why'd you shoot your coin and at what range?

Casper, I'll type why and how it will affect me tomorrow!! I'm in my bed at the FD now on my overpriced smart phone!! Lol!
Hope it's a quiet night for ya!

Actually Nick, a stray bullet is one of my biggest fears when it comes to shooting. Whether it be out having fun or defending my life, I don't want an innocent person or kid getting shot. Not something I want to carry around with me the rest of my life.

Where I usually shoot, we aim into a decent hill. Unless you aim really high, they aren't leaving the property. The people I've shot with on here, like KawiKid and 1000rrrider, we've shot into hills so most on here are pretty safety conscious when it comes to their bullets.

Except ninjanick doesn't wear jeans under his pants, or so I've heard.
I have an Xelemet textile jacket. Waterproof except at the zippers it seems to leak. The sleeves zip off also
And Xelemet pants, although I got them for Christmas so haven't worn them yet. They look something like this:
leatherup.com has really good prices on them.
I also have a mesh jacket I wear when it's really hot out. Don't know the brand but it's like riding in a t-shirt with the wind passing through.

However, most here love periods.
Not really. Makes my wife get all bitchy.

Ignore the dicks and you'll love it here.
Whoa. Umm..lol...nm

where can i find one like that? is the cable sturdy or something that can be cut with bolt cutters?
Yeah it could be cut but anything can be broken into. It's just one more line of defense it all. Unless you feel like bolting a huge 300lb safe into your car, you won't stop anyone that wants to steal it. Even then they would just steal the car and crack it eventually.
Cabela's, NASR, Buckeye/Vances, ballisticreload.com.......
They come in keyed and combo versions. I have the combo so I don't have to worry about losing a key. Judd just got the keyed version.

Not me. I had to take my kid to the babysitters on my way to work and plus it's still in storage.

i need to get a lockbox for the truck...problem is, behind my seat is completely full (single cab, and i have a toolbox behind my seat), so ill have to do some thinking about where ill put it lol...i have a little fireproof lock box already, may just use it with a thick cable lock and try to fit it inside the truck somewhere...not as thin as a gun safe, but it should do the job
They are low profile. Will fit under the seat or wherever. Has a cable that you can loop around something sturdy.

I use the belt loops on my Serpa holster. It's way more comfortable for me than the paddle and if I have to remove it, it goes into my lock box in the car. A holster won't fit in their anyways so it would do me no good to remove the holster with it. Then I just show off an empty holster. lol

how does the hood hold up? we're about to scrap an 80s something f350 diesel, i could snatch the hood off of it lol
Pretty good. Although it's got a huge whole in it from a 12ga. Not sure what dad had loaded in it. lol
