I've done that actually. Was following a guy I thought was seriously drunk. He was all over the road from white line to white line. I stopped, pulled out my cell phone, dialed the cops, flipped up my modular, stuck it into my helmet, lower the front to help with wind noise and took off after the guy. Not the easiest thing to do. I pulled up beside him at a light. He said he hadn't slept in about 3 days and was seriously tired. I told him to pull over and take a nap. He actually listened.

Holy crap! That is nuts. I might just get a gopro for stuff like this!

It's it made out of soft felt type stuff? Jamie has one of those and we both hated it. It slid in and out too easily. Maybe it was just the fit because it wasn't gun specific, just size.

Oh, and for having extra mag, I'd get a mag holster and wear it on your weak side. That way you can keep your gun aimed and reach with the other hand to grab another mag. If not, you'll be trying to reach with your left hand (assuming your right handed) to your right side of your hip.

First one, the clip switches sides for right or left hand. As it's set up, it's for left hand carry. Second is nice because you can adjust the cant. Some people like more of a cant when they draw. Personal preference. Last one, same type just different size. Made for your gun.

Yeah, compact. You can just use mine to get a feel for how it fits. Your gun might fit in the holster but isn't really necessary to use yours.

Like I told NinjaNick in another thread, if you want to stop by and try mine you are more than welcome to. Get a feel for the IWB and OWB holsters I have.

You edited on your earlier post! I got mine from New Albany Shooting Range. Was made specifically for my M&P, not one of those ones that fits a gun of a certain size. As far as cleaning it, I clean mine every couple of weeks, not weekly. Run a swab through the barrel to clean the dirt and lint, and wipe it down with a light coat of oil. All my guns get cleaned monthly just as preventative maint.

Basically but that one you posted is an outside waistband. The paddle part slips into your pants and there are small hooks that hook under your belt that keep it from sliding back out. I don't like the paddles because it's very uncomfortable for me. Plus trying to take it off can be a bitch.
