    That's a much better idea IMHO. It's legal and very secured. No chance of it sliding around in there while the vehicle is in motion.

    If I am in the car, I keep it on me. If I have to disarm to go in somewhere, it goes into a lock box. When I come back out, it goes back on my hip. I think that holster would get more negative attention from LE than most people really want.
