  1. Oh, I organized my photobucket account. Didn't realize it'd do that. Fixed, thanks man.
  2. lol, nothing against the Tacoma. That's what I had originally planned on but this pretty much fell into my lap. Couldn't resist. I do find myself watching the instant mpg trying to feather it to get the economy up a bit. I've had it since Wednesday and just filled up the tank from 1/4 full at 15.6 mpg. I'm hoping on my day off, either Tuesday or Wednesday, to really look it over. Needs a cabin air filter at least. Was going home today on the freeway and there was a kid parked on his four wheeler on the other side of the fence throwing stuff at my truck and other people. I didn't hear it my GF says she heard something hit the truck. I floored it to the next exit and came down the service road. They were up a hill and just waved at me and took off. I went off road a little bit but they were gone. Punk ass kids. Checked the truck later and didn't see any marks. hears a pic from picking her up the other day. Dang salesman didn't get the entire truck in the frame.
  3. On the back of the new Tundra. It's is a little crooked though. I should have lined it up with the bottom edge. Does it look ok or should I pull it off and try again? GF says it's not noticeable unless you're looking for it.
  4. Thanks everyone. I read the manual last night and saw the traction button right before I read that link. Good to know how it works. I'm in love with this truck. So much power, options, drives awesome. The assisted tailgate is sweet. Anyone who's dropped one before knows how much that sucks. I need to get some pictures posted on here before it gets to dirty. Calling them back Monday to get some floor mats and schedule to have it de-smoked. The previous owner smoked like a chimney in it but it's all in perfect shape. no wear or tears, just one tiny dent in the back bumper. glad I went with a Tundra over a Tacoma, she's a bad ass.
  5. Lol, yeah I'm glad too. This will last forever so I'm happy with it.
  6. I just talked to the sales guy, it's getting detailed and serviced now. Hopefully it's done soon...
  7. Yes, I just might have to. Lol. These trucks are bullet proof so I'll have it awhile for sure.
  8. 2008 Toyota Tundra. One owner, old guy that babied it, 4WD, 4D, 50k miles, tow package, 5.7L. I stopped by to check out some Tacomas but they had just gotten it on trade that day. It's getting detailed today and I pick up this afternoon. Can't wait! I'll post better pictures later.
  9. Yay for camera system! Scruit would be proud.
  10. Chances are they have 30 second pre record on the camera so it caught the ACDA. Yes, cup was a fault and bullied his way out of it. I'd take the helmet cam to the PD, and request the dash cam and a report.
  11. Ah, gotcha. Never heard of that before.
  12. Bullet button? Are they referring to forward assist?
  13. Lol, nope. Haven't done anything. Ill pm you my PayPal for my $20. Lol. actually the other truck I've been looking at are Tacoma's. My dad has driven them and have been great up through the 400,000 mile range. I've been looking into a mid size truck. I don't want an s10 or ranger but don't need a big gas hog. That's why I looked at the Colorado, just knew nothing about them, until now. Lol. I had a Chevy 1500hd crew cab. Hated the fuel economy as a daily driver. I need something with decent gas mileage, 4wd, tow package and room for family/kids. Honestly a Tacoma has been my first choice for a while now, I just need to find a good deal. Thanks for the input everyone!
  14. I'm kind of looking at trucks right now. The Colorado seems to be in my price range. I found a 2005 for $8k. Crew cab, 4wd, 160k miles, tow package. Anyone here have one? Happy? Issues? Fuel economy stated right around 20-22mpg, that's what my car gets. Accurate? KBB shows at about $9k so it might be a decent deal.
  15. Hey putz, how much you want for your little girl bike? lol
  16. We were on at 8a when it opened but couldn't get through. Had to wait until like 1130 but she got it one. Yeah, I'll let her know, see how it fits her and how she likes it. Thanks Will do! Hey now....yeah you're right...
  17. Yes, she is taking the MSF class before she attempts to ride, I made sure of that. After talking to her again and everyone's comments, I think her on a 250 would be the best and safest way. Then after she's ready to move up, maybe she'll take my bike and I'll upgrade. she seemed to like that idea. Planning on taking her Wednesday to get her permit, her class is beginning of May IIRC.
  18. She's always wanted to learn but never had the courage before I started talking to her about it. Zero experience on riding other than being on the back of mine lol. I already told her I won't push her limits at all, it's always at her own pace. I've been thinking that a 250 would be better but thought I'd ask.
  19. Ok, gf signed up for the msf course. I want to see what you guys think. Should I start her out on a Ninja 250 or give her my 96 fzr 600 and I trade up to a newer 600? I started on a 250 and only rode it for maybe 6 months before getting my fzr.
  20. Awesome. On their site LOL
