So you think a sportbike rider that's never been to the track can't ride? The rider that has been to the track can probably ride better, but that's not a given.
It'll be a few days until you get an answer.

That's funny.

A fellow soldier and rider. Sad. RIP.
The family of Sgt Brian K. Reed, US Army Veteran/PGR Member/American Legion Post #67 commander, has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the funeral of their son who lost his life last evening in a motorcycle accident just north of St. Mary’s, WV.
Brian was a member of the US Army Special Forces, doing multiple tours in the Sandbox. He was forced to take medical retirement earlier this year after suffering a hip injury during his latest deployment. He did, however, just return from Afghanistan earlier this month as a civilian employee of the US Government, again doing Special Ops.
Funeral details and ride captain will be announced as soon as they are available. Please follow this thread for further information.
updated 27 JUL 10, 1850 PDT, Got2BRebel
The services for Brian will be at the Sistersville First Baptist Church, 506 Wells St., Sistersville, WV, 26175
Visitation is on Thursday, July 29, 2 - 8 pm
Services are Friday, July 30, 11:00 a.m.
Interment is at Friendly Cemetery, Friendly, WV
Staging for Friday will be at approximately 0900 at a point to be determined after I talk with funeral director, with ride briefing at approximately 0930, and flag line at 1000 as we anticipate the family arrival. After the services we will escort Brian to his final resting place, so please be sure bike flags are road worthy. As always, watch the weather and dress accordingly.
Ron Jones WV ASC - North will be RC for this mission of honor.
Please follow the mission thread for updates as they are received.
I will be meeting with the funeral director Thursday to confirm staging area. It appears it will be across the street from the church in a vacant lot. This, and our participation will be discussed.
Thanks for all you do,
Ron J.

There are some die hard jeep people out there. You shouldn't have too much trouble selling it, as long as you ask a reasonable price.
-
doesnt affect the value of my bike since nobody ever gives me a damn OR sticker
*glares at ben*
Wrong person, he never has any. Try the other half.
-
Hopefully you were able to use that to negotiate a few hundred more off the price.
heck, that adds value.

How did a FS threadjack about lowballing turn into bitching over females?
-
Then what did you say?
You said the "chick was dressed slutty". What did you mean by that?
Lets see if I have the series of events correct:
- Sportbike rider is riding like a complete ass. (127 MPH by his own admission, weaving in and out of traffic, wheelies as seen on the video)
- Sportbike rider passes cop in median
- Sportbike rider gets pulled over by unmarked car (most likely notified by cop in median) who exits the vehicle with weapon drawn.
Is there any doubt to the events? How could the whole thing been avoided? If the rider went the speed limit (or close to it) kept his front wheel down and not cut in and out of traffic #3 would not have happened.
Certainly the rider is not responsible for the cop's actions, but he did set the events into motion that led to the cop getting out of the car, didn't he?
Wow you are dense aren't you. Maybe I meant the girl got verbally harassed. You assumed I meant rape.
Secondly no one is disputing the fact the rider was an idiot. You are arguing with yourself. Everyone's point is the cop was wrong for how he handled the situation and now the PD is trying to get out it by throwing the kid in jail.
Yes, he was wrong for riding the way he did, but that does not constitute the cop or PD acting the way they did. You keep saying it's the kids fault the cop did what he did. You might as well say its Casper's fault for you getting a couple infractions. He did let you on to the board after all.
