Hope this isn't a repost, and I know it's older but thought some people would get a kick out of it.

Girl Found Inside Car's Dashboard
A 10-year-old Mexican girl was found hidden inside a car's dashboard while it was undergoing an inspection Wednesday at the San Ysidro, California border crossing.
Officials said the girl was tightly trapped under the dashboard and the front passenger seat of a 1988 white Toyota Camry. She was removed after officers worked for 30 minutes to partially remove the seat. She appeared to be in good condition

Just be picky if it's something you plan on using more than once.
Some of their stuff is real junk.
You can find some quality bargain tools though, and a great place to pick up consumables like zip ties, bolts, rags and such.
There are 2 retail stores in Columbus, I usually stop by when I am in the neighborhood.
Like he said, some stuff is pretty poor quality but there are good deals on quality tools to be had. I picked up a cheap set of allen sockets and have had no issues with them, and they do get used quite often. I almost bought a harmonic balancer puller I think it was, and the bearing in it felt like crap.

Ok, sorry for the late question here, on the flip side of this, what if i can shift my bike through the gears with my hand sittin on a rear stand not moving? Is that a bad thing? Its a 94 ninja zx6e, just curious.
Yours just might not have to positive neutral finder. My FZR will shift through all gears while sitting still.
-
Some Kawasaki's have a positive neutral finder and will not shift beyond 1st gear unless the bike is moving. I'm not sure if your specific bike has this feature or not.
That was gonna be by guess. My ninja 250 had the positive neutral finder and wouldn't do into second unless moving. You're going to have to take it on the road to find out for sure.

... but I would also like to learn how bikes work in general. Do they teach you the majority of that in the course as well?
No, nothing mechanical except for the basics of checking the bike over before you ride- http://www.oceanstatehd.com/T-ClocksPre-RideCheck.htm Thats about the extent of the mechanical, everything else is just how to ride.
-
First off, welcome.
Secondly like everyone has said take the MSF course. They teach you how to ride from scratch so it will be a good way for you to learn. You will probably also get a discount on your insurance for taking the course, that's always a plus.
Now as for the mechanical side, your just gonna have to ask around. I do all my own work on the bike but it is usually a spur of the moment thing when I feel like working on it. If you are really wanting to work on bike, maybe professionally, there are always schools that will teach you. GL.

Welcome.
Keep the bike and ride it. You will find a lot of good people on here to ride with. Just keep the rubber side down.
